This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Curved Hook Smart Lock. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper function and longevity of the product.
The Curved Hook Smart Lock offers multiple unlocking methods including fingerprint, IC card, passcode, mechanical keys, and optional smart app control (TTLock or Tuya Smart). It is designed for various door types, including frameless glass doors, framed glass doors, and wooden doors.

4. Installation Guide
Important Notes:
- Batteries for the lock and remote controller are not included due to shipping limitations. Please purchase 4x AA alkaline batteries separately.
- The lock is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to excessive moisture.
- Ensure you select the correct lock type for your door. Different types come with different accessories and installation requirements.
4.1 Door Type Compatibility
The smart lock is compatible with various door types:
- Frameless Glass Doors: Suitable for door thickness of 8mm to 12mm. No drilling is required for types A, B, C, D.
- Framed Glass Doors or Wooden Doors: Suitable for door thickness of 4cm to 7cm. Drilling is required for types E, F, G.

4.2 Battery Installation
The lock requires 4x AA alkaline batteries (not included).
- Remove the battery cover on the rear panel of the lock.
- Insert 4 AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery cover.

4.3 Reset Key Location
The reset key is located on the rear panel. It is designed for easy access without needing to disassemble the entire rear panel during installation or for maintenance.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Unlocking Methods
The smart lock supports multiple ways to unlock:
- Fingerprint: Use the semiconductor biometric sensor for quick access.
- IC Card: Tap a registered IC card on the designated area.
- Passcode: Enter your registered numerical code on the keypad.
- Mechanical Keys: For emergency or manual override, use the provided mechanical keys. The keyhole is typically located at the bottom of the front panel.
- Emergency USB Port: In case of complete battery depletion, a Type-C USB port is available for emergency power to temporarily unlock the door.

5.2 Smart App Control (Optional)
Depending on your model, the lock may support TTLock or Tuya Smart app integration.
5.2.1 TTLock App Functions
The TTLock app supports 26 languages and allows for various controls via Bluetooth. For Wi-Fi control, a compatible Wi-Fi hub (G2) is required (not included).

5.2.2 Tuya Smart App Functions (Wi-Fi Version)
For models with Tuya Wi-Fi functionality, no extra gateway is needed for remote control.
- Direct Wi-Fi connection for remote control.
- Support for remote unlock requests via the app.
- Ability to send dynamic or temporary codes.

5.2.3 Tuya Smart App Functions (Bluetooth Version)
For models with Tuya Bluetooth functionality, you can unlock or lock when connected via Bluetooth. For Wi-Fi control, a compatible Wi-Fi hub is required (optional).

5.3 Passage Mode
The lock supports a "Normally Passage Mode" (available with TTLock app). When activated, the door remains unlocked, allowing free entry and exit without requiring authentication. This is useful for periods of high traffic or when the door needs to remain open.
6. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: The lock will provide a low power warning when batteries are running low. Replace all four AA alkaline batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.
- Cleaning: Clean the lock's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
- Fingerprint Sensor: Keep the fingerprint sensor clean and dry for optimal performance.
- Mechanical Components: Periodically check the latch and other mechanical parts for smooth operation. Do not lubricate with oil-based products unless specifically recommended by the manufacturer.
7. Troubleshooting
- Lock not responding: Check battery levels. If batteries are depleted, use the emergency USB Type-C port for temporary power or the mechanical key.
- Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint if the issue persists.
- Passcode not working: Verify the correct code is being entered. Check if the lock is in "Normally Passage Mode" if applicable.
- App connectivity issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and you are within range. For Wi-Fi models, check your Wi-Fi connection. For TTLock with Wi-Fi hub, ensure the hub is properly connected and configured.
- Anti-tamper alarm: If the alarm sounds, it indicates an attempt to tamper with the lock. Check the lock for any signs of forced entry.
