3. Operating the Watch
3.1. Timekeeping
Your SKMEI 9208 watch uses a reliable quartz movement for accurate timekeeping. Once set, the watch will continuously display the current time.
3.2. Date Function
The watch features an 'Auto Date' function, which means the date display will automatically advance at midnight. You may need to manually adjust the date at the end of months with fewer than 31 days.
3.3. 24-Hour / Moon Phase Sub-dial
This sub-dial indicates the time in a 24-hour format and visually represents the day/night cycle, often referred to as a moon phase indicator. It moves in sync with the main hour hand.
3.4. Second Sub-dial
The smaller sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position displays the running seconds, providing a continuous indication that the watch is functioning.
4. Maintenance
4.1. Water Resistance (30M/3Bar)
Your SKMEI 9208 watch is rated for 30 meters (3 ATM or 3 Bar) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water. However, it is NOT recommended for swimming, showering, or any water sports. Avoid pressing buttons or operating the crown when the watch is wet.

Important Notes:
1. Do not operate the watch in hot water or steam environments.
2. In some cases, water vapor can be caused by temperature differences, which is normal. If fogging occurs, ensure the crown is fully pushed in and allow the watch to return to room temperature.
4.2. Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and band regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For the stainless steel band, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
4.3. Battery Replacement
The quartz movement is powered by a battery. When the watch stops running, it indicates that the battery needs to be replaced. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a professional watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1. Watch Not Running
If the watch stops running, the most common cause is a depleted battery. Please refer to section 4.3 for battery replacement.
5.2. Incorrect Time/Date
If the time or date is incorrect, refer to section 2.3 for instructions on how to set them. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in after setting to prevent accidental changes.
5.3. Water Inside the Watch
If you notice condensation or water inside the watch, immediately stop using it and seek professional service. This could indicate a compromised water seal.
