6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Adjusting Magnification and Focus
The microscope offers a magnification range of 50x to 1000x. To adjust the magnification, rotate the focus wheel on the microscope body. For optimal clarity, adjust the distance between the microscope lens and the object, then fine-tune with the focus wheel. The best focal distance is between 0.11-2.36 inches.
6.2 Adjusting LED Lighting
The microscope is equipped with 8 adjustable LEDs to illuminate your subject. A dimmer switch or button on the microscope body allows you to increase or decrease the brightness to suit your observation needs and reduce glare.
6.3 Capturing Photos and Videos
Once connected to your device (smartphone/tablet via app or computer via client/Photo Booth), you can capture images (JPG format) and record videos (MP4/AVI format) directly through the software interface. The 'Photo/Switch' button on the microscope can also be used to trigger photo capture when in the appropriate mode.
7. Maintenance
- Keep the microscope clean by gently wiping the lens and body with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Store the microscope in its case when not in use to protect it from dust and damage.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the microscope, as this will void the warranty and may cause damage.
8. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the device is fully charged using a 5V charger.
- Cannot Connect via WiFi: Double-check that the 'WiFi/PC' switch is in the 'WiFi' position. Verify your mobile device is connected to the microscope's WiFi network and the Inskam app is open.
- Cannot Connect via USB: Ensure the 'WiFi/PC' switch is in the 'PC' position. Confirm you are using a USB 2.0 port on your computer and the correct software is installed (Windows) or Photo Booth is open (Mac).
- Blurry Image: Adjust the focus wheel on the microscope and vary the distance between the lens and the object until a clear image is achieved.
- Image Too Dark/Bright: Adjust the brightness of the 8 LED lights using the dimmer control on the microscope.
9. User Tips
- For stable viewing, always use the provided plastic stand and microscope holder.
- Experiment with different LED brightness levels to find the best illumination for various objects and lighting conditions.
- When using with a computer, ensure all necessary drivers or software are installed correctly for optimal performance.
- For very small or reflective objects, try adjusting the angle of the microscope or the object to minimize glare.
