6. Maintenance
6.1. Charging
The main unit is equipped with a 2000mAh rechargeable battery and uses a modern Type-C USB charging port for wider compatibility and durability.
- Connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the charging port on the device and to a standard USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
- A full charge typically provides 4-10 hours of light working time, or up to 1000 hours in code meter gear (no light on) mode.
6.2. Cleaning
- Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure the Type-C port cover is securely closed to maintain IPX5 waterproof rating.
6.3. Sensor Battery Replacement
The wireless speed sensor uses a CR2032 coin cell battery. Replace it when the sensor's performance degrades or the computer shows inconsistent readings.
- Open the sensor casing carefully.
- Remove the old CR2032 battery and insert a new one, observing polarity.
- Close the casing securely to maintain its waterproof seal.
7. Troubleshooting
- Bike Computer Not Displaying Speed/Distance:
- Check the distance between the speed sensor and the magnet. It must be within 5mm. Adjust the sensor's position if necessary.
- Ensure the CR2032 battery in the speed sensor is not depleted. Replace if needed.
- Verify the sensor is securely mounted and not loose.
- Light Not Turning On/Dim:
- Charge the main unit's battery.
- Ensure the wired control cable is properly connected.
- Horn Not Working:
- Check the main unit's battery level.
- Ensure the wired control cable for the horn is securely connected.
- Backlight Not Responding:
- Ensure the main unit is powered on.
- Press and hold the "SET" button for the specified 5 seconds to toggle the backlight.
8. User Tips
- Sensor Alignment: For consistent and accurate speed readings, double-check the alignment and distance (under 5mm) between the wheel magnet and the speed sensor after initial installation and periodically. Small adjustments can significantly improve performance.
- Cable Management: Use the provided cord retaining adhesive ring or other cable ties to neatly secure the wired control cable along your handlebar. This prevents tangles and ensures the buttons are always accessible.
- Charging Routine: To maximize battery life, try to charge the device regularly, especially before long rides. Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
