4. Media Center
The 'Media Center' function allows playback of various media files (wma, mp3, mp4, avi, jpg, jpeg, bmp, img) from a USB storage device connected to the USB2.0 port. Ensure the USB device is formatted as NTFS or FAT32.
Maintenance
1. Battery Care
To prolong the life of the 7.4V/2600mAh Li-Ion battery:
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures.
- If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% and store in a cool, dry place.
2. Cleaning
Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents. Ensure ports are free from dust and debris.
3. Software Updates
Periodically check the manufacturer's website for software updates. Updates can be installed via the USB port, which may improve performance or add new features. Refer to the official website for detailed instructions on software upgrades.
Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the battery is charged or the device is connected to the power adapter. Check the power adapter for damage.
- No Signal/Poor Signal:
- Verify all cable connections are secure and correct for the signal type (DVB-S2 for satellite, DVB-T2 for terrestrial/cable).
- Check LNB settings (for satellite) or antenna power supply settings (for terrestrial) in the device menu.
- Ensure the LNB or antenna is correctly aligned and free from obstructions.
- If the LNB short protection activates, check the LNB and cable for short circuits.
- Adjust signal parameters (frequency, symbol rate) if performing a manual scan.
- No Audio/Video Output:
- Check AV or HDMI cable connections to the external display.
- Ensure the external display is set to the correct input source.
- Verify audio/video settings within the ST-5155 menu.
- USB Media Playback Issues:
