Indicator Light Meanings

- Digital Meter: Displays voltage, frequency, cumulative running time, and single running time.
- Overload Indicator Light (Red): Flashes when the generator is overloaded. The overload protection will activate, cutting off power. Reduce the load and reset if necessary.
- Low Oil Indicator Light (Yellow): Flashes when the oil level is insufficient. Refill oil immediately to prevent engine damage.
- Ready Indicator Light (Green): Flashes when the generator is running and outputting power normally.
Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the generator and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage.
- Placement: Place the generator on a firm, level surface OUTSIDE in a well-ventilated area, far from windows, doors, and vents. Ensure at least 3-5 feet of clear space around the generator.
- Add Engine Oil:
- Remove the oil fill cap/dipstick.
- Using the provided funnel, slowly add the recommended engine oil (refer to Specifications for type and capacity) until it reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
- Securely replace the oil fill cap/dipstick.
- Add Fuel:
- Ensure the engine is OFF and cool.
- Open the fuel tank cap.
- Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. Do not overfill; leave some space for expansion.
- Securely replace the fuel tank cap.
- Grounding: For safety, connect a ground wire from the grounding nut on the control panel to a suitable earth ground (e.g., a ground rod).
Operating Instructions
Starting the Generator

- Ensure the generator is on a level surface and all safety precautions are observed.
- Turn the fuel valve to the ON position.
- Set the Engine Switch (ENG.SW) to the ON position.
- If starting a cold engine, pull the choke lever to the CHOKE position. If the engine is hot, do not close the choke valve.
- Firmly pull the recoil starter handle until the engine starts.
- Once the engine starts, slowly push the choke lever back to the OFF position.
- Allow the generator to run for a few minutes to warm up before connecting any electrical loads.
- Connect your appliances to the appropriate AC or DC outlets.
Stopping the Generator
- Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator outlets.
- Set the Engine Switch (ENG.SW) to the OFF position.
- Turn the fuel valve to the OFF position.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and reliable performance of your generator.
- Engine Oil: Check oil level before each use. Change oil after the first 20 hours of operation, then every 50-100 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
- Air Filter: Inspect the air filter every 50 hours or more frequently in dusty conditions. Clean or replace as needed.
- Spark Plug: Inspect the spark plug every 100 hours. Clean or replace if fouled or worn. Ensure proper gap.
- Fuel System: If storing the generator for an extended period (more than 30 days), drain the fuel tank and carburetor, or use a fuel stabilizer.
- General Cleaning: Keep the generator clean and free of debris. Ensure cooling vents are not obstructed.
Troubleshooting
Refer to this section for common issues and their solutions. If problems persist, contact technical support.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Engine will not start | No fuel, low oil, engine switch OFF, fuel valve OFF, choke incorrect. | Add fuel, add oil, turn engine switch ON, turn fuel valve ON, adjust choke. |
| No power output | Overload, AC breaker tripped, faulty connection. | Reduce load, press AC Reset button, check connections. |
| Overload indicator light on | Generator is overloaded. | Disconnect some appliances to reduce the load. Press AC Reset. |
| Low oil indicator light on | Engine oil level is low. | Stop the engine immediately and add recommended engine oil. |
