4. Setup
4.1 Attaching the Safety Rope
Before operating the robot, always attach the safety rope to a secure anchor point. This is crucial for preventing falls, especially when cleaning high windows.

Figure 4.1: Safety Rope Attachment Steps
- Ensure the safety rope is securely fastened to the robot, approximately 20cm from the attachment point.
- Tie a knot (as shown in step 2 of the diagram) to create a loop.
- Pass the rope through the loop (step 3).
- Pull the rope tight (step 4).
- Adjust the knot to be firm (step 5).
- Ensure the rope is taut and securely attached to a fixed object (step 6). The high-strength safety rope can hold up to 200kgf.
4.2 Power Connection
Connect the robot to a power source using the provided power cord and extension cable. The 4m + 1.5m extension cable allows for a larger cleaning range.

Figure 4.2: Power Connection and Safety Features
- Connect the power cord to the robot's power input.
- Connect the extension cable to the power cord and then to a wall outlet.
- Ensure the fall-protection power connector is properly secured to prevent accidental disconnection during operation.
- The robot features a built-in UPS (Uninterruptible Power System) that provides 20 minutes of power-off protection in case of main power supply disconnection.
4.3 Filling the Water Tank
Use the provided water adding bottle to fill the 30ml water tank with clean water or a suitable glass cleaning solution. The robot uses an innovative atomizing nozzle to create a 15µm water mist for effective dirt dissolution.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Initial Placement and Start
Place the robot on the glass surface you wish to clean. Ensure it adheres firmly before starting. The robot can be started with a single press of a button or via the remote control.

5.2 Cleaning Modes and AI Routing
The Liectroux YW610 features AI routing for optimal cleaning performance and offers three changeable cleaning modes:

Figure 5.1: Intelligent Cleaning Routes
- Up-to-down: The robot cleans vertically from top to bottom.
- Left-to-down: The robot cleans horizontally from left to right, then moves down.
- Right-to-down: The robot cleans horizontally from right to left, then moves down.
You can select the desired cleaning mode using the infrared remote controller. The robot will automatically return to its original starting point after completing the cleaning cycle.
5.3 Water Spray Function
The robot can automatically spray water from its 30ml tank, creating a fine 15µm mist to dissolve dirt and stains. This function can also be controlled manually via the remote.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning Cloths
The robot uses specially designed high-density cleaning fiber cloths for effective cleaning. After each use, remove the cleaning cloths from the robot and wash them. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching for the next use. Replace worn-out cloths as needed.

6.2 Water Tank
Regularly clean the 30ml water tank to prevent residue buildup. Empty any remaining water after use and rinse the tank with clean water. Allow it to air dry.
6.3 General Cleaning
Wipe the robot's body with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dust or debris. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
7. Troubleshooting
- Robot not adhering to glass: Ensure the glass surface is clean and dry. Check if the suction cups or cleaning pads are free from debris. Verify the power connection is stable.
- Robot stops during cleaning: The built-in UPS provides 20 minutes of backup power. Check the main power supply connection. If the battery is low, recharge the robot.
- Ineffective cleaning: Ensure cleaning cloths are clean and properly attached. Refill the water tank if empty. For stubborn dirt, a pre-cleaning pass or manual spot cleaning might be necessary.
- Remote control not working: Check the batteries in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the robot.
- Safety rope issues: Always ensure the safety rope is securely attached to both the robot and a fixed anchor point before operation.
8. User Tips
- Check Plug Type: Before first use, verify that the power plug provided is compatible with your region's electrical outlets (e.g., EU plug).
- Pre-clean Heavily Soiled Windows: For windows with heavy dust or grime, consider a quick manual wipe or a dry run with the robot first to remove loose debris before applying water spray for a deeper clean. This helps prevent streaks.
- Optimal Water Usage: Use the water spray function judiciously. For lightly soiled windows, less water might be needed. For tougher stains, ensure the water tank is adequately filled.
- Secure Anchor Point: Always use a strong, fixed anchor point for the safety rope, especially when cleaning exterior windows or at heights.
