5. Setup & Installation

5.1 Battery Installation

Open the key box.
Locate the battery compartment cover inside the box.
Remove the cover and insert the required AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.

5.2 Physical Installation

Use the provided drill template to mark the drilling points on the wall.
Drill holes at the marked points.
Insert the expansion bolts into the drilled holes.
Align the key box with the holes and secure it using the expansion screws.

5.3 App Pairing (Tuya Smart Life)

Download the 'Tuya Smart' or 'Smart Life' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
Register or log in to your account.
Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled and the key box is powered on and within range.
In the app, tap '+' to add a new device. The app should automatically discover the key box via Bluetooth.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Storing Keys and Cards

The key box offers ample internal space for various items.

Open the key box using any authorized method.
Place your keys, access cards, or other small items inside.
Close the key box securely.

6.2 Unlocking Methods

6.2.1 Password Unlock (Password Version)

Wake up the keypad by touching it.
Enter your registered numerical password.
Press the 'OK' button to confirm. The box will unlock.

6.2.2 Fingerprint Unlock (Fingerprint Version)

Place your registered finger firmly on the fingerprint sensor.
The box will unlock if the fingerprint is recognized.

6.2.3 Bluetooth/App Unlock

Open the Tuya Smart Life app on your paired smartphone.
Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is active and you are within range of the key box.
Select the key box device in the app.
Tap the 'Unlock' button within the app interface. The box will unlock.

6.3 User Management (via Smart Life App)

The Smart Life app allows you to manage access for multiple users.

Adding Users: Follow the app's instructions to add new fingerprints or set up new passwords for guests or family members.
Temporary Access: Grant temporary access codes or permissions for specific timeframes.
Access Logs: View a history of unlock events (feature availability may vary by app version).

7. Maintenance

Battery Replacement: When the battery level is low (indicated by the app or a warning light/sound on the device), replace all AAA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

Password Not Working (Password Version):
- Double-check the entered code for accuracy.

Regular Battery Checks: Periodically check the battery status via the Smart Life app to avoid unexpected lockouts.
