7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Solution |
|---|---|
| No sound output from speakers/headphones. |
|
| Bluetooth device cannot pair or connect. |
|
| Remote control not working. |
|
| Optical/Coaxial cable cannot be used as an output. | The Toslink and Coaxial ports on this device are inputs only. They are designed to receive digital audio signals from source devices, not to transmit them. |
| Cannot connect a Bluetooth speaker to the DAC. | This device functions as a Bluetooth receiver, meaning it receives audio from a Bluetooth source (like a phone) and outputs it via its analog ports. It is not a Bluetooth transmitter and cannot send audio to Bluetooth speakers or headphones. |
| PS4 Pro/Slim not working with the converter. | PS4 Pro and PS4 Slim models typically lack an optical fiber output interface, which is required for digital audio connection to this converter. Please check your PS4 model's available audio outputs. |
8. User Tips
- Always check your TV's audio settings first: Many common issues are resolved by ensuring the TV's digital audio output is set to PCM/LPCM.
- Understand the Bluetooth function: Remember this device is a Bluetooth receiver, not a transmitter. It takes audio from your phone/tablet and sends it to wired speakers/headphones, it won't connect to wireless speakers.
- Power Source: While a TV's USB port can power the DAC, a dedicated 5V USB power adapter might provide more stable power, especially if you experience any intermittent audio issues.
