3. Compatibility

This manual primarily describes the TECTINTER NGC Wired Controller with a GameCube (GC) port, designed for the Nintendo GameCube (NGC) console. It is also compatible with the Nintendo Wii console when connected to a GameCube port.

A separate USB variant of this controller exists, which connects directly to devices with USB ports. For the GC port version to be compatible with other platforms such as Nintendo Switch, Wii U, or PC, a dedicated controller adapter (GC to USB adapter) is required (adapter not included). Up to 4 controllers can be connected simultaneously to these consoles via such an adapter for multiplayer games.

4. Setup and Connection

4.1. Connecting the Controller (Installation)

  1. Ensure the NGC console is powered off.
  2. Keep the NGC console's controller port and the controller's connector clean and dry.
  3. Align the controller's connector with the NGC console's controller port.
  4. Gently insert the connector until it is fully seated and secured.

4.2. Disconnecting the Controller (Removal)

  1. Power off the NGC console first.
  2. Hold the connector (not the cable) and gently pull outward to disconnect.
  3. Do not pull the cable hard to avoid damage to the cable or port.
