  • Live View: Watch real-time footage from all connected cameras. The interface supports up to 4 split-screen previews.
  • Playback: Review recorded video footage stored on the Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) or cloud storage (free 30-day trial available).
  • Two-Way Audio: Use the built-in microphone and speaker to communicate with visitors or deter intruders.
  • Light Control: Adjust camera lights if applicable.
  • Screenshot & Recording: Capture still images or manually record video directly from the live view.
  • PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom): Control camera movement if your specific camera model supports it (check product specifications).

4.3. Smart PIR Motion Detection

The cameras feature smart PIR (Passive Infrared) motion detection, designed to detect mammals or objects with a temperature above 86°F (30°C). This helps reduce false alarms from inanimate objects. When motion is detected, the system will:

  • Send instant alerts to your phone.
  • Quickly start recording video.
  • Monitor a 120° wide-angle area up to 23ft.

5. Maintenance

  • Solar Panel Cleaning: Regularly clean the solar panels to ensure maximum efficiency. Dust, dirt, and debris can reduce the panel's ability to charge the battery.
  • Battery Health: While solar-powered, extreme weather conditions or prolonged periods of low sunlight may require occasional manual charging of the camera batteries via the USB port.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the "CloudEye 365" or "Eseecloud" app periodically for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Storage Management: If using a Micro SD card, regularly back up important footage and consider formatting the card periodically to maintain performance. Cloud storage offers automatic backup.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Power to Camera:
    • Ensure the camera's ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
    • Verify the solar panel is receiving adequate sunlight.
    • If necessary, charge the camera battery using the USB data cable and a 5V power adapter.
  • No Video Feed on App/Monitor:
    • Check if the base station is powered on and connected to the router.
    • Ensure the cameras are turned on and within range of the base station.
    • Verify the base station's QR code was scanned correctly during app setup.
    • If using HDMI, ensure the cable is securely connected to both the base station and the display, and the display input is set correctly.
  • Weak Signal/Connection Issues:
    • Relocate the camera or base station to improve signal strength. Avoid obstructions like thick walls or large metal objects.
    • Ensure the camera antenna is securely attached and oriented correctly.
  • PIR Motion Detection Not Working:
    • Check the app settings to ensure PIR motion detection is enabled and sensitivity is adjusted appropriately.
    • Ensure the camera's field of view is clear of obstructions.
  • Two-Way Audio Issues:
    • Check microphone and speaker settings in the app.
    • Ensure there are no physical obstructions blocking the microphone or speaker on the camera.
