1. Product Overview

The COOLMUSIC BP-MINI is a versatile, battery-powered acoustic guitar amplifier designed for portability and high-quality sound. 2. Setup

2.1 Charging the Amplifier

The BP-MINI features a built-in large capacity rechargeable lithium battery. Before initial use, ensure the amplifier is fully charged.

  1. Connect the provided USB cable to the DC-IN (5V/2A) port on the rear panel of the amplifier.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included) or a power bank.
  3. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours.
  4. Once fully charged, the amplifier can provide 6-8 hours of working time.

2.2 Attaching/Detaching the Speaker Strap

The BP-MINI comes with a detachable speaker strap for easy portability.

  • To attach: Align the strap's fasteners with the attachment points on the sides of the amplifier and secure them.
  • To detach: Unfasten the strap from the amplifier. The strap can be replaced with a longer one if desired.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Control Panel Overview

The top panel of the BP-MINI features controls for both the microphone and guitar channels, along with master volume and power controls.

Controls:

  • MIC Input: 6.35mm input for microphone.
  • GUITAR Input: 6.35mm input for guitar.
  • VOLUME (MIC/GUITAR): Adjusts the input level for each channel.
  • BASS (MIC/GUITAR): Adjusts the low-frequency response for each channel (-15 to +15).
  • TREBLE (MIC/GUITAR): Adjusts the high-frequency response for each channel (-15 to +15).
  • CHORUS (GUITAR): Adds a chorus effect to the guitar channel.
  • REVERB (MIC/GUITAR): Adds a reverb effect to both channels.
  • VOLUME (Master): Overall output volume control.
  • POWER: On/Off switch for the amplifier.
  • B.T. MODE: Bluetooth indicator and mode button.

3.2 Connecting Instruments and Microphones

  1. Ensure the amplifier is powered off and all volume knobs are set to minimum.
  2. Connect your microphone to the MIC input using a 6.35mm cable.
  3. Connect your acoustic guitar or other instrument to the GUITAR input using a 6.35mm cable.
  4. Power on the amplifier using the POWER switch.
  5. Slowly increase the individual channel VOLUME knobs and the master VOLUME knob to your desired level.
  6. Adjust BASS, TREBLE, REVERB, and CHORUS (for guitar) controls to shape your sound.

3.3 Bluetooth Connectivity

The BP-MINI supports Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless audio playback.

  1. Power on the amplifier.
  2. Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
  3. Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "BP-MINI" to pair.
  4. Once paired, you can play accompaniment music through the amplifier.
  5. Adjust the Bluetooth volume using the dedicated VOLUME knob on the amplifier's control panel.

3.4 Rear Panel Connections

  • PHONES: 6.35mm headphone output for silent practice.
  • DC-IN (5V/2A): USB input for charging the amplifier.
  • D.I. Out: 6.35mm output for connecting to a mixer or recording interface.
  • AUX IN: 3.5mm auxiliary input for connecting external audio devices (e.g., MP3 players, computers).

4. Maintenance

4.1 General Care

  • Keep the amplifier clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Protect the amplifier from extreme temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the amplifier to strong impacts.
  • When not in use for extended periods, store the amplifier in a dry, cool place.

4.2 Battery Care

  • To prolong battery life, avoid completely discharging the battery frequently.
  • Charge the battery regularly, even if the amplifier is not used often.
  • If storing for a long time, charge the battery to about 50% and recharge every few months.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Reduce channel and master volume levels.
  • Test with a different instrument/microphone.
