Setup and Installation
The JOYING 15.1 Inch HD Floating Car Multimedia Player is designed for universal double DIN car dashboards. Professional installation is recommended.
Physical Installation
The device features an upgraded installation structure with adjustable left and right brackets. These brackets can be extended or telescoped to achieve the best fixing position for your car's center console, ensuring compatibility with most double DIN car dashboards.
Note: If your car is a Hyundai or Kia brand, please contact the seller for a different bracket.
Wiring Connections
Refer to Figure 2 for the rear panel layout and port identification. Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the device.
- Radio-ANT: Connect your car's radio antenna.
- USB: Two USB ports are available for connecting external devices, including mobile phones for Carplay/Android Auto.
- MIC: Connect the external microphone for improved call quality.
- HDMI OUT: For connecting external displays (e.g., headrest monitors). Note: HDMI cable is not included.
- Optical/Coaxial: For digital audio output.
- L.IN/R.IN: Left and Right audio input.
- RL OUT/FL OUT/RR OUT/FR OUT: Rear Left, Front Left, Rear Right, Front Right audio outputs for connecting to external amplifiers.

User Interface and Navigation
The device features a 15.1-inch IPS screen with 1920x1080 resolution, providing clear visuals. The interface supports both Left-Hand Drive (LHD) and Right-Hand Drive (RHD) configurations.

- Built-in Carplay & Android Auto: Connect your mobile phone with the car radio via USB cable or Bluetooth to share the phone's apps on a bigger screen. This provides easier access to navigation, phone calls, and music.
- WiFi Signal: With an independent WiFi antenna, the unit ensures stable signal quality and provides fast and smooth internet access. It supports 802.11a/b/g/n/AC standards across 2.4GHz/5GHz spectral bands.

- GPS Signal Issues:
- Ensure the GPS antenna is properly installed and has a clear view of the sky.
- Check the GPS antenna connection to the unit.
- CarPlay/Android Auto Not Connecting:
- Ensure your phone's USB cable is working correctly and is connected to the correct USB port on the unit.
- For wireless connection, ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on both the unit and your phone.
- Restart both the unit and your phone.
- Unit Overheating:
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Check if the cooling fan is operating (refer to Figure 11).

Note: This product does not support the car original rear view camera and is not compatible with cars equipped with a factory amplifier.
