    • Ensure the quick release plate is detached from the fluid head.
    • Secure your camera to the quick release plate using the appropriate 1/4" or 3/8" mounting screw. Use the built-in L-shaped hex key for secure tightening.

Operating Instructions

Quick Release System

The fluid head supports quick release plates compatible with DJI RS2/RS3/RS3 PRO gimbals and Manfrotto 501PL/504PL. To mount, press the quick release button (if applicable for your plate type) and insert the plate from the top. To release, press the side release button and lift the plate.

Panoramic Movement (Pan)

The fluid head features a 360° rotatable pan base. Loosen the pan locking knob to allow horizontal rotation. The integrated scale helps with precise panoramic shots. Tighten the knob to lock the pan movement.

Tilt Adjustment

The fluid head allows for a tilt range of -70° to +90°. Loosen the tilt locking knob to adjust the vertical angle of your camera. Once the desired angle is achieved, tighten the knob to secure the position. The counterbalanced system assists in smooth tilting movements.

Leveling

Use the integrated bubble level to ensure your fluid head is perfectly horizontal before shooting, especially for panoramic photography, to avoid skewed horizons.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the fluid head with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the fluid head in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Lubrication: The fluid damping system is sealed and does not require user lubrication. Do not attempt to disassemble the fluid head for lubrication.
  • Check Screws: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight. Use the provided hex key for any adjustments.

Troubleshooting

  • Camera not secure: Ensure the quick release plate is fully engaged and locked into the fluid head. Double-check that the camera is tightly screwed onto the quick release plate using the hex key.
  • Stiff movement: If pan or tilt movements feel stiff, ensure the respective locking knobs are fully loosened. If the issue persists, clean any visible debris from the moving parts.
  • Head not level: Adjust your tripod legs until the bubble in the integrated level is centered.
