1. Introduction

The TWOOC EH-2 Bicycle Electronic Horn is designed to enhance safety for cyclists by providing a loud warning sound. Its compact size, high decibel output, and waterproof design make it suitable for various cycling conditions and bike types.

2. Setup and Installation

The TWOOC EH-2 horn is designed for easy, tool-free installation using flexible silicone straps. It is compatible with handlebars ranging from φ22.2mm to 31.8mm in diameter.

2.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the horn.
  2. Carefully open the compartment.
  3. Insert two CR2032 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (positive and negative directions indicated by the logo).
  4. Close the battery compartment securely. For better waterproofing, the battery compartment is installed tightly; tools may be needed to remove it.

2.2 Handlebar Mounting

  1. Apply the anti-slip pad to the bottom of the horn product.
  2. Fix one end of a silicone strap at the hook on the horn.
  3. Place the horn (speakers facing forward) in the desired position on your handlebar.
  4. Fix the strap at the other end of the hook to complete the installation. The strap is designed to adapt to different sizes and diameters of handlebars.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Important Safety Notice

The electronic horn produces a very loud sound. To prevent unnecessary harm, avoid sounding the horn in narrow indoor spaces or directly towards ears.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Replacement

The horn is powered by two CR2032 batteries. When the sound becomes weak or the horn stops functioning, it's time to replace the batteries. We recommend using Panasonic batteries for longer life. Ensure the waterproof ring of the battery compartment is correctly installed after replacement to maintain its IPX4 rating.

4.2 Cleaning and Care

Wipe the horn with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the horn is dry before storage or prolonged use.

4.3 Waterproofing

The horn has an IPX4 waterproof rating, meaning it is resistant to splashing water from any direction. It is suitable for daily outdoor use in rainy environments. However, it is not designed for submersion.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Horn not sounding or weak sound: Check battery levels. Replace CR2032 batteries if necessary. Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.
  • Horn not securely mounted: Re-adjust the silicone straps to ensure a tight fit on the handlebar. Verify the anti-slip pad is correctly positioned.
  • Water ingress: If the horn has been exposed to heavy rain or submerged, allow it to dry completely. Ensure the battery compartment's waterproof ring is properly seated after battery changes.
