1. Introduction

5. Setup

  2. Placement: Place the analyzer on a flat, stable, and dry surface, away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, or strong vibrations. Ensure adequate space around the device for ventilation and access to ports.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC12V input port on the rear of the analyzer. Plug the power cable into a grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Initial Power On: Flip the ON/OFF switch on the rear panel to the 'ON' position. The device will power on and initiate its startup sequence.
  5. Language and Time Settings: Follow the on-screen prompts to select your preferred language, set the date, and time.
  6. Network Connection (Optional): If network connectivity is required for HIS/LIS integration or data management, connect an Ethernet cable to the PC/MAC port. Configure network settings via the on-screen menu.

6. Operating Instructions

The Wondfo YG101 analyzer is designed for ease of use, following a simple four-step procedure for quantitative immunoassay testing.

  1. Prepare the Analyzer:
    • Ensure the analyzer is powered on and has completed its self-check.
    • Navigate to the main testing interface on the LCD touch screen.
  2. Load ID Card:
    • Locate the appropriate ID card for the specific test you intend to perform (e.g., Canine Prog, TSH, CRP).
    • Insert the ID card into the designated ID card slot on the device. The analyzer will read the test parameters.
  3. Prepare the Test Card and Sample:
    • Obtain a new, unopened test card for the desired assay.
    • Using a pipette, accurately add the required volume of sample (e.g., serum, plasma, whole blood, urine, tissue fluid) to the sample well of the test card. Refer to the specific test kit instructions for exact sample volume and preparation.
  4. Insert Test Card:
    • Once the sample is applied to the test card, immediately insert the prepared test card into the test card slot on the analyzer.
    • Ensure the card is inserted correctly and fully seated.
  5. Start Analysis and Read Results:
    • The analyzer will automatically detect the inserted card and begin the analysis.
    • The reaction time typically ranges from 3 to 15 minutes, depending on the specific test.
    • Once the analysis is complete, the results will be displayed on the LCD touch screen.
    • You can print the results using the internal thermal printer if desired.

Note: Sample Type: Whole blood/serum/plasma is recommended to use serum or plasma, except for HbA1c (whole blood). Level 0: No immunization is recommended. Level 1: Low titer antibodies in the body, immunization is recommended. Level 2: Low titer antibodies in the body. Level 3 and 4: High titer antibodies in the body. Level 5 and 6: High titer antibodies in the body. *Ongoing: FCV Ag, FPLV Ag, FHV Ag.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the exterior of the analyzer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For disinfection, the device supports Ultraviolet Light. Follow standard UV safety procedures.
  • Screen Care: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for touchscreens to clean the LCD.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the analyzer in a cool, dry place, ideally between 4-30°C. Protect it from dust and direct sunlight.
  • Calibration: Perform routine Quality Control (QC) checks as recommended by the test kit manufacturer and your laboratory's protocols to ensure accurate results.
