  • Do not operate the refrigerator with a damaged cord or plug.
  • Do not immerse the refrigerator in water or other liquids.
  • Keep ventilation openings clear of obstructions.
  • Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.
  • Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning or performing maintenance.
  • Place the refrigerator on a stable, level surface. It can be kept stable by tilting up to 45°.
  • Avoid placing the refrigerator in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

5.3 Operating Modes (MAX/ECO)

The refrigerator typically offers two operating modes:

  • MAX Mode: Provides maximum cooling power for faster temperature reduction.
  • ECO Mode: Energy-saving mode, ideal for maintaining temperature with lower power consumption.

Refer to the specific instructions in your manual for how to switch between these modes using the control panel.

5.4 Battery Protection

The refrigerator features a three-level battery protection system (High, Medium, Low) to prevent your vehicle's battery from being completely drained. This system automatically cuts off power to the refrigerator if the input voltage drops below a set level.

You can adjust the battery protection level (H/M/L) via the control panel or the mobile app. Choose a higher setting (H) for sensitive vehicle batteries or if you plan to leave the refrigerator connected for extended periods without the engine running. A lower setting (L) allows the refrigerator to run longer but carries a higher risk of draining the vehicle battery.

5.5 Mobile App Control

The refrigerator supports control via a mobile application. This allows you to adjust temperature, monitor power, and change settings remotely.

  • Download: Search for the official VEVOR refrigerator app on your smartphone's app store (e.g., Apple App Store for iPhone, Google Play Store for Android).
  • Connection: Follow the in-app instructions to connect your smartphone to the refrigerator via Bluetooth.

5.6 Humanized Design Features

The refrigerator incorporates several user-friendly features:

  • Built-in LED Light: Illuminates the interior for easy visibility.
  • Removable Internal Basket: Helps organize contents and allows for easy cleaning.
  • Detachable Handle: For convenient portability.
  • Cup Holders: Integrated into the lid to secure drinks.
  • Corner Protectors: Enhance durability and protect against impacts.
  • Heat Dissipation Mesh: Ensures efficient cooling and prevents overheating.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Always disconnect the power supply before cleaning.
  • Clean the interior and exterior with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
  • Ensure the heat dissipation mesh is free of dust and debris for optimal performance.
  • Dry all surfaces thoroughly before reconnecting power.

6.2 Defrosting

If a thick layer of ice forms inside, defrost the unit:

  1. Turn off the refrigerator and disconnect it from the power supply.
  2. Remove all contents.
  3. Leave the lid open to allow the ice to melt naturally.
  4. Wipe away melted water with a clean cloth.
  5. Do not use sharp objects to remove ice, as this can damage the cooling system.

6.3 Storage

When not in use for extended periods:

  • Clean and dry the refrigerator thoroughly.
  • Leave the lid slightly ajar to prevent odors and mold growth.
  • Store in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
