5. Important Safety Instructions

  • Power Connection: The robot must be connected to a power source to function properly. It is not designed to operate unplugged after charging.
  • Initial Charging: Upon first receipt, charge the robot for more than 2 hours. The built-in battery is primarily for UPS power failure protection, not for cordless operation.
  • Safety Rope: Always attach the safety rope to a secure anchor point before placing the robot on the window. This is crucial to prevent falls in case of power loss or suction failure.
  • Surface Suitability: Use the robot only on smooth, non-porous glass surfaces. Do not use on cracked, uneven, or frosted glass.
  • Supervision: Do not leave the robot unattended during operation, especially on high windows.
  • Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the operating robot.
  • Water Tank (if applicable): Use only clean water or recommended window cleaning solution in the water tank. Do not use corrosive liquids.
  • Maintenance: Regularly inspect the cleaning cloths and suction pads for wear and tear. Replace as needed.
  • UPS Protection: The UPS provides temporary power in case of an outage. If a power outage occurs, retrieve the robot promptly.

9. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Robot falls off window Not properly connected to power; insufficient suction; power outage; dirty suction pads. Ensure power adapter is securely plugged in. Check for obstructions on suction pads. Clean suction pads. If power outage, retrieve robot immediately using safety rope.
Red indicator light is on Machine abnormal; error detected. Turn off the robot, check for any visible issues (e.g., tangled cloths, obstructions), then restart. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
Robot not cleaning effectively Dirty or worn cleaning cloths; empty water tank (for spray models); excessive dirt on window. Replace or wash cleaning cloths. Refill water tank. Pre-clean heavily soiled windows if necessary.
Water spray not working (for spray models) Empty water tank; clogged nozzle. Refill water tank. Check if the nozzle is clogged and gently clean if needed.
Remote control not responding Dead batteries in remote; obstruction between remote and robot. Replace remote control batteries. Ensure a clear line of sight to the robot's remote control receiving window.

10. User Tips

  • Always Plugged In: Remember that this robot requires continuous power connection during operation. The internal battery is a backup for power outages, not for cordless use.
  • First Use Charging: For optimal battery health and UPS functionality, ensure the robot is charged for at least 2 hours before its very first use.
  • Safety First: Never operate the robot without securely attaching the safety rope to a fixed point. This is your primary safeguard against accidental falls.
  • Pre-Dampen Cloths: For models without a water spray function, lightly dampen the cleaning cloths with water or window cleaner before attaching them to the robot for better initial cleaning.
  • Clean Cloths Regularly: The effectiveness of the robot largely depends on clean microfiber cloths. Wash them frequently to avoid streaks and ensure optimal performance.
