4. Setup Instructions

1. Connect Power (Optional but Recommended for PD Charging): Plug a compatible USB-C Power Delivery charger (up to 100W) into the docking station's PD3.0 USB-C port. This is essential for charging your laptop and ensuring stable performance with multiple high-power peripherals.



2. Connect to Host Device: Use the provided USB-C cable to connect the docking station's "HOST" USB-C port to your laptop's USB-C port. Ensure your laptop's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode) for display functionality.
3. Connect Displays:
   • For HDMI displays, connect HDMI cables to the available HDMI ports (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3).
   • For DisplayPort displays (Type 1 only), connect a DP cable to the DP port.
   • For VGA displays (Type 1 only), connect a VGA cable to the VGA port.

   Ensure your display cables are securely connected to both the docking station and your monitors.

5.1. Windows Systems

• Extend Mode: Supports quadruple monitor display (laptop screen + 3 external monitors) at 1920x1080P/60Hz. This allows for separate content on each screen, enhancing productivity.
• Mirror Mode: Duplicates your laptop screen across all connected external monitors at 1920x1080P/60Hz.
• Non-Mirror Mode: Allows for different content on external monitors, but not necessarily an extension of the laptop screen in all configurations.

• Mirror Mode Only: Supports triple display (laptop screen + 2 external monitors) in mirror mode at 1920x1080P/60Hz. Extend mode is generally not supported for multiple external displays on macOS through this docking station.
• Note: For DP1.4 compatible macOS systems, some configurations might allow for extended displays, but generally, macOS is limited to mirror mode for multiple external displays with this device.

• No Display Output:
  • Ensure all display cables are securely connected to both the docking station and your monitors.
  • Verify your laptop's USB-C port supports video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode). Not all USB-C ports have this capability.

  • Ensure the docking station is receiving sufficient power, especially when connecting multiple displays or power-hungry peripherals.
• Charging Issues:
  • Confirm your power adapter is connected to the PD3.0 port on the docking station and is powerful enough (e.g., 100W) to charge your laptop and power the hub simultaneously.
  • Check if your laptop supports USB-C Power Delivery.
• Slow Data Transfer:
  • Ensure you are using USB 3.0 or 3.1 ports for high-speed devices. USB 2.0 ports have lower speeds.
  • Check the specifications of your external device and the cable used; older devices or cables may limit transfer speeds.
• Ethernet Not Working:
  • Verify the Ethernet cable is properly connected to both the docking station and your router/modem.
  • Check your laptop's network settings to ensure the Ethernet adapter is recognized and configured.
• Audio Issues:
  • Ensure your audio device (headphones/microphone) is correctly plugged into the 3.5mm jack.
