3. Setup and Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure you have the correct tube type for your motor. The AM35 motor is suitable for 45MM double grooved tubes, 50MM grooved tubes, and 50MM round tubes.

3.1 Motor Assembly into Tube
- Select the appropriate crown and drive wheel for your tube type.
- Slide the crown onto the motor head.
- Slide the drive wheel onto the motor body.
- Insert the assembled motor into the roller shutter tube. Ensure it fits snugly.
3.2 Mounting the Roller Shutter
- Attach the mounting brackets securely to the wall or ceiling, ensuring they are level and spaced correctly for your roller shutter.
- Insert the motor end of the roller shutter into its bracket.
- Secure the idler end of the roller shutter into its corresponding bracket.
- Ensure the roller shutter is firmly in place and can rotate freely.
3.3 Power Connection
- Connect the motor to a DC 5V power source using the provided charging cable.
- Ensure the power connection is secure.

4. Operating Instructions
The AM35-6/18-ES-E-Z motor can be controlled via a remote control or integrated with smart home systems.
4.1 Remote Control Pairing
- Ensure the motor is powered on.
- Locate the 'SET' button on the motor head (refer to Figure 4).
- Press the 'SET' button briefly. The motor should respond with an audible signal.
- On your remote control, press the pairing button (often a small button inside the battery compartment or a dedicated pairing button). The motor should respond again, indicating successful pairing.

4.2 Setting Upper and Lower Limits
After pairing, you need to set the upper and lower travel limits for your roller shutter.
- Use the UP/DOWN buttons on the remote to move the shutter to your desired upper limit.
- Once at the desired upper position, press and hold the 'SET' button on the motor head until the motor jogs slightly, indicating the upper limit is set.
- Repeat the process for the lower limit: Use the UP/DOWN buttons to move the shutter to your desired lower limit.
- Press and hold the 'SET' button on the motor head until the motor jogs slightly, indicating the lower limit is set.
4.3 Smart Home Integration (Tuya, Alexa, Google Home)
To control the motor via Tuya app, Alexa, or Google Home, a compatible Tuya Zigbee hub is required (sold separately). Follow the instructions provided with your Zigbee hub and the Tuya app to add and configure the motor. Ensure your smart home devices are connected to the same network as the Zigbee hub.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the motor and roller shutter with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Charging: The motor has a built-in Li battery. When the battery is low, connect the motor to a DC 5V power source using the provided charging cable. The charging port is located on the motor head (refer to Figure 4).
- Regular Checks: Periodically check the mounting brackets and connections to ensure they are secure.

6. Troubleshooting
