6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Adjusting Height and Angles

- Height Adjustment: Loosen the leg buckles and the center column locking knob to extend the tripod to your desired height. The tripod can extend up to 1.76m (69.29 inches). Secure all locks once the height is set.
- Pan/Tilt Adjustments: Use the pan/tilt adjustment knob and pan/tilt control handle to adjust the camera's angle. The 360° integrated ball head allows for smooth and stable damping for upward, downward, and horizontal shooting.
- Vertical and Horizontal Mode Switching: The tripod head features a 90° folding design and a separate locking knob, allowing for easy switching between vertical and horizontal shooting modes.

6.2 Advanced Shooting Modes
- Overhead Video Shooting Mode: Extend the center column horizontally for overhead shots.
- Low-angle Shooting Mode: Adjust the legs to a wider angle for stable low-angle shots.
- Inverted Center Axis Mode: For extremely low angles or specific creative shots, the center axis can be inverted.

6.3 Using the Bluetooth Remote Control
Once paired, the Bluetooth remote control allows you to trigger your camera or smartphone from up to 30 meters away, perfect for selfies, group photos, or remote video recording.

6.4 Using the Hook
The tripod includes a hook at the bottom of the center column. You can hang heavy objects on this hook to increase the tripod's stability, especially in windy conditions or when using heavy equipment.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the tripod with a soft, dry cloth after each use. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the tripod in its provided storage bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Lubrication: Periodically check moving parts for smooth operation. If necessary, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to joints and locking mechanisms.
- Bluetooth Remote Charging: The remote control's red light flashes when the battery is low, stays on during charging, and goes out when fully charged. Charge as needed using a standard USB charger.
8. Troubleshooting
- Problem: Tripod is unstable.
- Solution: Ensure all leg buckles and center column locking knobs are securely tightened. Extend legs evenly. Consider hanging a heavy object on the hook for added stability.
- Problem: Bluetooth remote control not connecting.
- Solution:
- Ensure the remote control is powered on (long press camera button for 3 seconds).
- Check if Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Verify that "ULANZI MT-65" is selected in your phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Make sure the remote control is charged.
- If the remote entered dormant state, press any button to wake it up.
- Problem: Camera/phone not securely mounted.
- Solution: Ensure the quick release plate knob is fully tightened for cameras. For smartphones, ensure the phone clip is stretched adequately and securely gripping the device.
9. User Tips
- Weight Distribution: When using heavier cameras, try to keep the center of gravity as low as possible by not extending the center column to its maximum height unless necessary.
- Stability with Weight: Utilize the integrated hook at the bottom of the center column to hang a bag or other heavy items. This significantly increases the tripod's stability, especially when fully extended or in windy conditions. The hook can support up to 5kg.
- Quick Mode Switching: Practice switching between vertical and horizontal shooting modes using the separate locking knob on the ball head for faster adjustments during shoots.
- Remote Control Range: The Bluetooth remote has a range of up to 30 meters, allowing for creative shots from a distance. Ensure a clear line of sight for optimal performance.
