3. Setup Guide

3.1 Panel Installation

The alarm panel can be wall-mounted or placed on a tabletop using the included desktop bracket.

3.2 Powering the Panel

Connect the alarm panel to a power source using either the DC12V 1A external cable or the DC5V 2A Type-C USB cable. Note: Do not connect both power sources simultaneously. The panel has a built-in 5000mAh lithium battery for backup power.

3.3 Network Connection (WiFi & 4G)

  1. WiFi Setup:
    • Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is on for WiFi configuration.
    • Connect your phone to a 2.4G WiFi network.
    • On the alarm panel, navigate to 'Settings' -> 'Connection' -> 'WiFi'.
    • Select 'Airlink' to enter WiFi setup mode and follow the on-screen instructions.
  2. 4G Setup:
    • Insert a Nano SIM card into the designated slot on the back of the panel.
    • Ensure the SIM card has an active 4G data plan.
    • The system will automatically detect and connect to the 4G network.

3.4 Adding Sensors and Accessories

The system supports up to 150 wireless accessories and 8 wired zones.

  1. On the alarm panel, navigate to 'Settings' -> 'Connection' -> 'Sensor' (for wireless) or 'Wired' (for wired zones).
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to add new sensors. For wireless sensors, activate the sensor to pair it with the panel.
  3. You can customize the name of each accessory via the mobile APP for easy identification.

3.5 Setting Alarm Phone Numbers

The system can notify up to 5 emergency contacts.

  1. On the alarm panel, navigate to 'Settings' -> 'Connection' -> 'Phone'.
  2. Select 'Settings' within the phone menu to access the phone setup.
  3. Enter up to five phone numbers. When an alarm is triggered, the panel will automatically send text messages and call these numbers sequentially.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Arming and Disarming

The main screen displays options for 'Away', 'Disarm', and 'Home' modes. Tap the desired mode to activate it.

  • Away Arm: Activates all sensors for full protection when you leave the premises.
  • Home Arm (Stay Arm): Activates perimeter sensors (e.g., door/window sensors) while allowing free movement inside.
  • Disarm: Deactivates the alarm system. Requires a user code.
  • SOS: Triggers an immediate emergency alarm.

4.2 Alarm Settings

Customize alarm behavior through the 'Security' menu.

  • Delay Setting: Adjust 'Arm delay' (0-180s), 'Alarm delay' (0-180s), and 'Siren time' (0-1800s).
  • Alarm Setup: Enable/disable 'Local alarm', 'Siren alarm', 'Siren beep', and 'Delay beep'.

4.3 User Codes

Manage user codes for disarming and system access.

  • Navigate to 'Security' -> 'Code' to change user codes (User 1, User 2, User 3, System).
  • You will need to enter the original code before setting a new one.

4.4 APP Remote Control

Use the dedicated mobile application to remotely control your alarm system.

  • Arm/disarm the system from anywhere.
  • View the status of door and window switches in real-time.
  • Customize accessory names for better organization.

4.5 Voice Control (Alexa & Google Assistant)

Integrate your alarm system with Alexa or Google Assistant for convenient voice commands.

  • Set up the integration within the mobile APP.
  • Bind the alarm system with your Alexa or Google device.
  • Use voice commands to arm and disarm the system (a PIN code is required for disarming, preset in the Alexa/Google APP).

4.6 Door/Window Not Closed Warning

If you attempt to set 'Away Arm' mode while a door or window is open, the security panel will display a warning notification.

4.7 Pet Friendly Design

The motion detectors are designed to be pet-friendly, preventing false alarms from pets under 15kg. Ensure proper placement to avoid direct detection of pets moving too close to the sensor.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Panel

The panel features an anti-fingerprint touch screen. To clean, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and immediately dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.

The panel also has a 'Clean' mode in settings that deactivates keys for 1 minute, allowing for cleaning without accidental inputs.

5.2 Battery Management

  • The main panel has a built-in 5000mAh lithium battery. Ensure it is regularly charged via the power adapter.
  • Wireless sensors (door/window, motion, remote) are battery-powered. The system will provide low voltage alarms for these sensors. Replace batteries promptly when notified.

5.3 OTA Online Upgrade

The system supports Over-The-Air (OTA) online upgrades. This allows for continuous optimization, new features, and bug fixes without manual intervention.

  • When an update is available, the panel will notify you.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to perform the update. Ensure the panel is connected to power and a stable internet connection during the upgrade process.
  • No extra fees or contracts are needed for these updates.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Check power adapter connection and ensure the built-in battery is charged.
  • WiFi Connection Issues: Ensure your router is 2.4G compatible. Verify correct WiFi password. Try restarting the panel and router.
  • Sensor Not Pairing: Ensure the sensor is in pairing mode and within range of the panel. Check sensor battery.
  • False Alarms: Review sensor placement, especially motion sensors (consider pet-friendly zones). Adjust alarm delay settings.
  • No Phone Notifications: Check SIM card installation and 4G signal strength. Verify emergency phone numbers are correctly entered in settings. Ensure 'Siren alarm' and 'Local alarm' are enabled in 'Alarm setup'.
  • Screen Unresponsive: Try restarting the panel. If the issue persists, contact support.
