5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Align the Li-ion battery pack with the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
- Gently push the battery into place until it clicks securely.
- Use the provided screwdriver to tighten the fixing screw at the bottom of the battery compartment to ensure it is firm and free from falling off, and to improve sealing for better water resistance.

5.2 Antenna Installation
- Screw the antenna clockwise into the connector on the top of the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

6.3 Wireless Copy Frequency
This feature allows you to quickly copy frequencies and privacy codes from another radio:
- Press the MENU button to enter the "FQSCAN" interface.
- Press MENU again. The UV-21 PRO V2 will begin searching for another radio's transmission frequency and privacy code.
- Once detected, press MENU to store the frequency. This enables communication between the two walkie-talkies without manual programming.
