Setup Guide
Install Batteries in Handset
Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the handset. Insert the provided rechargeable batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the cover securely.
Connect Base Unit to Power
Plug the small end of the power adapter into the DC 6V port on the back of the base unit. Plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet.

Connect Base Unit to Telephone Line
Plug one end of the telephone line cord into the LINE port on the back of the base unit. Plug the other end into your telephone wall jack.
Charge the Handset
Place the handset on the base unit. The "In use and charge LED" indicator on the base unit should illuminate, indicating that the handset is charging. Allow the handset to charge for at least 12-15 hours before initial use to ensure full battery capacity.
Handset Registration (if needed)
The handset should be pre-registered to the base unit. If "SEARCHING" or "UNREGISTERED" appears on the display, you may need to register the handset manually. Refer to the "Operating Instructions" section for details on handset registration. Up to 5 handsets can be registered to a single base unit.

Basic Call Functions
- Making a Call: Pick up the handset or press the green call button. Dial the desired number.
- Answering a Call: When the phone rings, pick up the handset or press the green call button.
- Ending a Call: Place the handset back on the base unit or press the red end call button.
- Redial: Press the redial button to call the last dialed number.
- Flash Function: Use the flash button for call waiting or transferring calls (if supported by your phone service).
Advanced Features
- Caller ID: The LCD 3-line display will show the incoming caller's number (if subscribed to Caller ID service).
- Number Storage: Store frequently called numbers in the phone's memory. Refer to the on-screen menu for instructions on saving and recalling numbers.
- Ringing Tones: Choose from 10 different ringing tones. Navigate through the menu to select your preferred melody. Different melodies can be set for different call types.
- Volume Adjustment: Adjust the ringing tone, earpiece, and hands-free speaker volumes using the navigation buttons during a call or through the menu settings.
- LCD Backlight: The LCD display features a backlight for improved visibility in low-light conditions.
- Keypad Lock: Activate the keypad lock function to prevent accidental dialing.
- Mute Function: During a call, press the mute button to temporarily disable your microphone.
- Pre-dial and Edit: Enter a number before initiating a call, and use the edit function to correct any mistakes.
Multi-Handset Operation
If you have multiple handsets registered to the same base unit (up to 5), you can utilize features such as:
- Intercom: Make internal calls between registered handsets.
- Call Transfer: Transfer an external call from one handset to another.
- Conference Calls: Participate in a three-way conference call (one external, two internal handsets).

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the handset and base unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, allow the handset to fully discharge occasionally before recharging. Avoid exposing batteries to extreme temperatures.
- Storage: If storing the phone for an extended period, remove the batteries from the handset.
- Environment: Keep the phone away from water, direct sunlight, and excessive heat.
