  1. After Each Use: Unplug the unit. Empty the water from the tank. Wipe the inside of the tank and the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
  2. Storage: Store the cleaner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  3. Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use strong acids, alkalis, or corrosive cleaning solutions in the tank, as this may damage the stainless steel.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Unit does not turn on:
    • Check if the power cord is securely plugged into both the unit and the power outlet.
    • Ensure the power outlet is functional.
  • No ultrasonic action (no bubbles/sound):
    • Ensure the tank is filled with water above the minimum level.
    • Press the 'ON' button firmly.
    • If the unit has been running, allow it to cool down before restarting.
  • Poor cleaning results:
    • Ensure items are fully submerged.
    • Do not overcrowd the tank.
    • Consider adding a small amount of mild, non-foaming detergent suitable for ultrasonic cleaners.
    • For heavily soiled items, multiple cleaning cycles may be necessary.

10. User Tips

  • Water Level: Always ensure the water level is sufficient to cover the items and is above the minimum fill line to prevent damage to the unit.
  • Cleaning Solution: While plain water is often effective, adding a drop of dish soap or a specialized ultrasonic cleaning solution can improve results for stubborn dirt or grease.
  • Scratch Removal: Please note that ultrasonic cleaners are designed to remove dirt, grime, and contaminants. They cannot remove scratches from surfaces.
  • Noise Level: The VGT-800 is designed for low noise operation, typically around 54 decibels, comparable to normal conversation.
