6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Jump Starting a Vehicle
Follow these steps carefully to jump start your vehicle:
- Ensure Safety: Park the vehicle in a safe location, engage the parking brake, and turn off all electrical loads (lights, radio, AC).
- Connect Clamps to Jump Starter: Insert the blue plug of the smart battery clamps firmly into the 12V 'JUMP START' port on the jump starter. Ensure a secure connection.
- Connect Clamps to Car Battery:
- Attach the RED (+) clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the car battery.
- Attach the BLACK (-) clamp to a clean, unpainted metal part of the car's engine block or chassis, away from the battery. Alternatively, connect to the negative (-) terminal if accessible and safe.
- Check Indicator: The smart clamp indicator light will show the connection status. A solid green light indicates a correct and safe connection. If it's red or flashing, check your connections.
- Start Vehicle: Once the indicator is green, start your vehicle's engine. If it doesn't start immediately, wait 30 seconds before trying again. Do not crank for more than 3 seconds per attempt.
- Remove Clamps: Once the engine starts, immediately remove the BLACK (-) clamp from the car, then the RED (+) clamp.
- Disconnect from Jump Starter: Disconnect the smart clamps from the jump starter unit.
Caution: Do not touch the red and black clamps together. Do not leave the jump starter connected to the car battery after the engine has started.

8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Vehicle does not start | Jump starter battery is low; clamps not connected properly; vehicle battery completely dead; engine too large for unit. | Ensure jump starter is fully charged. Check clamp connections (positive to positive, negative to chassis/engine block). Try again after 30 seconds. Ensure vehicle engine size is within specifications (Gasoline < 6.0L, Diesel < 4.0L). |
| Smart clamp indicator is red/flashing | Incorrect connection; reverse polarity; short circuit. | Disconnect clamps and re-connect carefully, ensuring correct polarity (+ to +, - to - or chassis). If problem persists, the vehicle battery may be severely damaged. |
| Jump starter not charging | Charging cable faulty; power adapter faulty; input port damaged. | Try a different charging cable and/or power adapter. Ensure the cable is fully inserted into the 'INPUT' port. |
| Digital devices not charging | Jump starter battery low; USB cable faulty; device not compatible. | Charge the jump starter. Try a different USB cable. Ensure your device is compatible with 5V/2.0A charging. |
| Wireless charging not working | Device not compatible; device not centered; foreign objects on pad. | Ensure your device supports Qi wireless charging. Reposition the device on the charging pad. Remove any metal objects or thick cases. |
