1. Product Overview

The TrustFire EB02 is a versatile mobile power box designed to function as both a battery storage solution for 18650 rechargeable batteries and a portable power bank. 2. Setup and Installation

2.1 Battery Installation

The EB02 is designed exclusively for 18650 batteries. Ensure you use button-top 18650 rechargeable batteries with a Protection Circuit Board (PCB) for optimal performance and safety.

Open the battery compartment by unscrewing the top cap.
Insert four 18650 batteries, paying close attention to the polarity markings (+ and -) inside the compartment. Incorrect battery insertion will burn out the circuit.
Securely close the battery compartment by screwing the top cap back on.

2.2 Mounting (for Bike Lights)

The EB02 can be easily mounted to a bicycle frame using the provided straps, allowing it to power bike lights or other accessories on the go.

3. Operation

3.1 Charging the EB02 Unit

To charge the batteries inside the EB02, connect an 8.4V DC adapter to the DC input port. The unit has an input capacity of 8.4V 2000mAh.

3.2 Using as a Power Bank (USB Output)

Connect your mobile phone or other USB-powered device to the 5V USB port. Use the USB Output Switch on the top of the unit to activate the charging function. The EB02 provides a maximum output of 2100mA, allowing for greatly shortened charging times.

3.3 Powering LED Bike Lights (DC Output)

Connect your 8.4V LED bike light to the DC output port. The EB02 will provide the necessary power for your light.

3.4 Battery Indicator

The EB02 features a battery indicator to show the remaining power level. Refer to the indicator lights on the top panel for status.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Waterproofing

The EB02 has an IP67 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected from dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. While it is highly water-resistant, avoid prolonged submersion or exposing it to high-pressure water jets.

4.2 General Care

Keep the unit clean and free from dust and debris.
Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Avoid dropping or subjecting the unit to severe impacts.

5. Troubleshooting

Unit not powering on or charging: Ensure 18650 batteries are inserted with correct polarity. Verify that the 8.4V DC adapter is properly connected and functioning when charging the unit.
Device not charging via USB: Make sure the USB Output Switch is turned on. Check the USB cable and the connected device.
Bike light not receiving power: Ensure the DC cable is securely connected to both the EB02 and the bike light. Verify the bike light is compatible with an 8.4V power source.
Overheating: If the unit feels excessively hot, disconnect all devices and allow it to cool down. Ensure proper ventilation during use and charging.
