This Staniot K010 wireless touch keypad is designed to arm and disarm your security system using a passcode or an RFID tag. It connects to your alarm hub via the eV1527 protocol, offering an effective communication range of up to 80 meters in open areas. The integrated lithium-ion rechargeable battery provides power for up to 3 months on a single charge.
The keypad is compatible with 433MHz frequency encoding method EV1527 alarm hosts, including Tuya-compatible systems.

6. Charging the Battery
To charge your keypad:
- Push the battery switch to the 'on' position.
- Connect your keypad to a power outlet using the provided USB cable and power adapter (if included).
A full charge from an empty state takes approximately two to three hours. The power indicator will change from breathing green to solid green when fully charged.
If the keypad's battery is low, the power indicator may flash red once every 2 seconds, signaling that it needs to be charged.
Power/Ready Indicator Status:

7. Installation
Before permanent installation, it is recommended to test the keypad's communication range with your hub. Avoid mounting the keypad directly onto metal surfaces, as this can interfere with RF signals between the keypad and the receiver.
To install:
- Fix the bracket to your desired surface using the included screws.
- Insert the keypad securely into the mounted bracket.

8. About the Keypad
Sleep/Wake Mode
To conserve battery power, the keypad automatically enters sleep mode after 20 seconds of inactivity. Simply touch any button to wake it up.
User and Admin Passcodes
The keypad uses two 4-digit passcodes:
- User Passcode: Used for arming, home arming, and disarming your security system. The default user passcode is "1234".
- Admin Passcode: Used for pairing, deleting RFID tags, and changing passcodes. The default admin passcode is "8888".
9. Programming
Basic Programming Steps
- STEP 1: Enter the admin passcode, then press the Check/Set/Continue button (β). The setting indicator will light up, indicating that programming mode is ready.
- STEP 2: Input the number corresponding to the desired function:
1: Pair RFID Tag2: Delete RFID Tag3: Delete All RFID Tags0: Set User Passcode9: Set Admin Passcode- STEP 3: Enter the specific setting (e.g., new passcode, tag number), then press the Check/Set/Continue button (β). The buzzer will beep twice to confirm.
- LAST STEP: Press the Clear/Return button (β) then the Check/Set/Continue button (β) to exit programming.
After selecting the function, press the Check/Set/Continue button (β). The setting indicator will blink.
9.1. Pairing RFID Tag
The RFID tags included with your kit are typically pre-paired. If you need to pair additional tags or re-pair existing ones:
- Enter the admin passcode, then press β.
- Press
1, then press β. - Enter a digit from
0to9to assign a unique number to the tag, then press β. The arming, disarming, and setting indicators will blink together. - Tap the RFID tag on the RFID tag reader zone. The keypad will emit two beeps to indicate successful pairing.
Tip: Up to 10 RFID tags can be added.

9.2. Deleting RFID Tag
- Enter the admin passcode, then press β.
- Press
2, then press β. - Enter the tag number (
0to9) of the RFID tag you wish to delete, then press β.
9.3. Deleting All RFID Tags
- Enter the admin passcode, then press β.
- Press
3, then press β to delete all RFID tags.
9.4. Setting User Passcode
- Enter the admin passcode, then press β.

0, then press β. - Enter the new 4-digit user passcode, then press β.
9.5. Setting Admin Passcode

10. How to Connect Your Keypad to Hub
To connect the keypad to your alarm hub:
- Set your alarm hub into pairing/sniffer mode (refer to your hub's manual for specific instructions).
- On the keypad, enter your user passcode, then press the Away Arm button (
) to send an arming transmission signal to the hub. - The hub will provide a successful indication once paired.

11. Doorbell Function
The doorbell function requires separate pairing as its identification number differs from the arming/disarming ID. To enable the doorbell function:
- Set your alarm hub into pairing/sniffer mode.
- Press the Doorbell button (
) on the keypad to send the doorbell transmission signal to the hub. - The hub will provide a successful indication. The doorbell function can now be used.
12. Arming/Disarming Your Security System
Using User Passcode:
- Away Arm: Enter user passcode, then press the Away Arm button (
). - Disarm: Enter user passcode, then press the Disarm button (
). - Home Arm: Enter user passcode, then press the Home Arm button (
).
Using RFID Tag:
- Away Arm: Press the Away Arm button (
), then tap the RFID tag on the reader zone. - Disarm: Press the Disarm button (
), then tap the RFID tag on the reader zone. - Home Arm: Press the Home Arm button (
), then tap the RFID tag on the reader zone.
13. Reset to Factory Settings
This process will reset your keypad to its factory default settings and remove all paired RFID tags.
- Locate the tamper switch underneath the keypad's bracket.
- Press and release the tamper switch ten times.
- All indicators on the keypad will light up, and then the keypad will restart.
14. User Tips
- Tuya Integration: The keypad is designed to work with Tuya Smart Home platforms. Ensure your alarm hub is also Tuya-compatible and supports the 433MHz EV1527 protocol for seamless integration.
- Passcode Management: Regularly change your default user and admin passcodes for enhanced security. Remember to keep your admin passcode confidential.
- RFID Card Convenience: Utilize the RFID cards for quick and easy arming/disarming, especially when entering or leaving your property.
- Signal Strength: If experiencing connectivity issues, ensure the keypad is within the effective range of your alarm hub and not obstructed by large metal objects.
15. Troubleshooting
- Keypad not responding: Check if the battery switch is on and if the battery is charged. If the power indicator is blinking red, there might be a battery failure or the switch is off. If flashing red, the battery is low.
- Unable to pair with hub: Ensure your hub is in pairing/sniffer mode. Verify that both the keypad and hub operate on the 433MHz EV1527 protocol. Avoid metal obstructions between the devices.
- RFID tags not working: Ensure the RFID tags are correctly paired. If not, follow the 'Pairing RFID Tag' instructions.
- Passcode not accepted: Double-check that you are entering the correct 4-digit passcode. Remember the default user passcode is "1234" and admin passcode is "8888". If forgotten, you may need to reset the keypad to factory settings.
