Setup
1. Powering On
- For Wall Mount (USB version): Connect the provided USB cable to the sensor's USB-Type-C port and plug it into a DC 5V 1A power adapter (not included).
- For Ceiling Mount (AC version): Connect the sensor to an AC 80-250V power supply. Ensure proper electrical safety procedures are followed or consult a qualified electrician.
2. Connectivity (Zigbee / WiFi)
The sensor is available in two versions: Zigbee and WiFi. Choose the correct version based on your smart home ecosystem.
- WiFi Version: Connects directly to your 2.4G WiFi network. No additional hub is required.
- Zigbee Version: Requires a Zigbee hub (gateway) to operate. It supports Home Assistant (via zigbee2mqtt). Please note that it is not compatible with Tuya Zigbee hubs.
3. App Connection and Pairing
- Plug in the sensor.
- Press and hold the button on the sensor for a few seconds until the indicator light flashes. This puts the device into pairing mode.
- Open the compatible smart home application (e.g., Smart Life app for WiFi version, or Home Assistant for Zigbee version).
- Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. The app should detect the "Human presence sensor".
- Confirm the addition. Once successfully added, the sensor will appear in your device list.

Operation
1. Detection Modes
The 24G Millimeter Wave Radar technology allows for precise detection of both moving and non-moving individuals.
- Human Motion Detection: Detects active movement within the specified range.
- Human Static Detection: Detects the presence of a person even when they are stationary, such as sitting or sleeping, by sensing micro-movements like breathing and heartbeat.

2. Sensitivity and Distance Settings
You can customize the detection parameters through the mobile application to suit your specific needs and environment.
- Large Motion Detection Distance: Adjustable from 0 to 1000 cm.
- Large Motion Detection Sensitivity: Adjustable from 0x to 10x.
- Small Motion Detection Distance: Adjustable from 0 to 600 cm.
- Small Motion Detection Sensitivity: Adjustable from 0x to 10x.
- Stationary Detection Distance: Adjustable from 0 to 600 cm.
- Stationary Sensitivity: Adjustable from 0x to 10x.

4. Smart Scene Linkage
Integrate the human presence sensor with other smart devices in your home automation system to create intelligent scenarios:
- Automatic Lighting: Configure lights to turn on when you enter a room and turn off when no one is detected.
- Security Alerts: Receive intrusion alarm messages if presence is detected in an unoccupied area.
- Energy Saving: Automatically turn off air conditioning or other appliances when you leave home.

5. Monitoring and Records
The mobile application allows you to view real-time presence status updates (Presence, No One, Small Move, Large Move, Breath) and access historical data records.
- Real-time Status: Monitor current presence and movement types.
- Historical Data: Review past detection events and illuminance values.
- Notification Settings: Configure intrusion alarm messages, presence status messages, and "no one" status messages.

User Tips
- Zigbee Hub Compatibility: Remember that the Zigbee version requires a Zigbee hub and is specifically noted to work with Home Assistant (zigbee2mqtt). It is NOT compatible with Tuya Zigbee hubs. Ensure your hub is compatible before purchase.
- Pet Detection: The sensor is highly sensitive and can detect even small movements like breathing. Therefore, it is likely to detect pets such as cats or dogs. If you need to avoid pet detection, consider adjusting the sensitivity settings or placement to minimize false triggers.
- Optimal Placement: Experiment with different installation locations (wall or ceiling) and adjust detection distances/sensitivities to achieve the best performance for your specific room layout and desired coverage.
- Power Supply: Ensure a stable power supply (DC 5V 1A for USB versions, AC 80-250V for ceiling versions) for continuous and reliable operation.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the sensor's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the device.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the mobile application for available firmware updates. Keeping the firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance and access to new features.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the sensor is operated within the specified temperature and humidity ranges (-10℃~+55℃ / 0%~95% RH) to prevent damage and ensure accurate readings.
Troubleshooting
- Sensor Not Connecting:
- Ensure the sensor is properly powered on and the indicator light is flashing during pairing.
- Verify that you have selected the correct version (Zigbee or WiFi) and have the necessary hub for the Zigbee version.
- Check your WiFi network (2.4G only for WiFi version) or Zigbee hub connection.
- Try resetting the sensor to factory defaults (refer to app settings) and re-attempt pairing.
- Inaccurate Detection:
- Adjust the detection distance and sensitivity settings in the mobile application.
- Ensure there are no obstructions directly in front of the sensor that might interfere with the millimeter wave radar.
- Verify the installation location is optimal for the desired coverage area.
- No Notifications:
- Check the notification settings within the mobile application to ensure intrusion alarms and status messages are enabled.
- Verify your phone's notification settings for the smart home app.
- Zigbee Version Not Working with Tuya Hub:
- As explicitly stated, the Zigbee version is not compatible with Tuya Zigbee hubs. It is designed to work with other Zigbee hubs or Home Assistant (zigbee2mqtt).
