6.6. Automatic Return
The boat features an automatic return function. If the signal is lost or the boat exceeds the 500-meter range, it will automatically return to its starting point.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, especially in saltwater, rinse the boat thoroughly with fresh water to prevent rust on propellers and other accessories. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
- Propeller Inspection: Regularly check the propellers for any debris, fishing lines, or damage. Clean or replace as necessary.
- Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not overcharge or completely discharge batteries. If storing for extended periods, charge to about 50-60%.
- Storage: Store the bait boat in a dry, shaded area away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
8. Troubleshooting
- Boat not responding: Check remote control batteries and boat battery connection. Ensure the boat and remote are paired correctly.
- Short operating time: Ensure the boat battery is fully charged. Note that lower ambient temperatures can reduce battery life.
- Boat drifts off course: Verify GPS signal strength on the remote control. Ensure no obstructions are interfering with the signal.
- Lost signal: The boat is designed to automatically return if the signal is lost. Wait for the boat to return or manually retrieve it if safe to do so.
- Propellers not spinning: Check for debris wrapped around the propellers. Ensure the motors are free from obstruction.
9. User Tips
- When using the boat in saltwater, always rinse it thoroughly with fresh water after use to prevent corrosion on metal parts like propellers and motors.
- If you have a two-battery set, remember that only one battery can be used at a time; the other serves as a spare.
- Be aware that battery working time can be significantly reduced in colder temperatures. Plan your fishing trips accordingly.
- For optimal GPS performance, ensure a clear line of sight to the sky when setting positioning points.
