2. Setup Guide
2.1 Unboxing and Initial Power On
Upon opening the package, you will find the User's Manual, the Smart Tag device, and an opener tool.
To power on the device, locate the blocking tabs and pull them out. The device will emit a prompt sound, indicating it has started and entered pairing mode.
2.2 App Requirements
The Smart Tag requires an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch) with iOS 14.5 or later, or iPadOS 14.5 or later. Compatible models include iPhone SE, iPhone 6s or later, iPad (5th generation or later), iPad Air 2 or subsequent models, and iPad Mini 4 or subsequent models.

2.3 Pairing the Device
- Ensure your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on.
- Open the Apple 'Find My' App on your device.
- Bring the Smart Tag close to your Apple device.
- In the 'Find My' App, tap the 'Items' tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Select 'Add New Items' and then 'Other Supported Items'.
- The App will display the Smart Tag device. Tap 'Connect'.
- Fill in a custom name for your device and select an emoji to represent it.
- Agree to register the device to your Apple ID.
- Tap 'Finish' to complete the binding process.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Finding Items (Play Sound)
When your Smart Tag is within Bluetooth range of your phone (typically up to 20 meters indoors), you can make it emit a sound to help you locate it quickly. Open the 'Find My' App, navigate to the item, and tap 'Play Sound'. The device's built-in 75 dB buzzer will activate, guiding you to your item.

3.2 Remote Positioning and Precise Search
Leveraging the Apple Find My network, you can track the location of your items even when they are beyond Bluetooth range. As long as any Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac) is near your Smart Tag, its location will be updated in your 'Find My' App. This process is anonymous and encrypted to protect your privacy.


3.3 Lost Mode
If you lose an item with a Smart Tag, you can enable 'Lost Mode' in the 'Find My' App:
- Open the 'Find My' App and tap the 'Items' tab.
- Select the name of the lost item.
- Under 'Lost Mode', tap 'Enable'.
- Follow the on-screen instructions, tap 'Continue', and enter a contact phone number or email address.
- Review the information and tap 'Enable' again to activate Lost Mode.
If another Apple device detects your Smart Tag while in Lost Mode, you will receive a notification with its updated location and the contact information you provided.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement
The Smart Tag uses a replaceable CR2032 coin cell battery, providing a long-lasting battery life of approximately 365 days. When the battery is low, you will receive a notification on your Apple device. Use the provided opener tool to carefully open the Smart Tag and replace the CR2032 battery.


5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Pairing Issues
If you encounter difficulties pairing your Smart Tag with the 'Find My' App, it may be due to a temporary inability to connect to the Apple server. Please try the following:
- Switch between Wi-Fi and cellular networks on your mobile device.
- Return the Smart Tag to factory settings (refer to the 'Removing Item' section for guidance on re-pairing).
- Attempt to re-pair the device with the 'Find My' App.
5.2 Removing an Item
To remove a Smart Tag from your Apple ID, for example, if you need to bind it to another phone or for return/refund purposes:
- Open the 'Find My' App.
- Navigate to the item you wish to remove.
- Scroll to the bottom of the item's details and find 'Remove Item'.
- Tap 'Remove'.
After removing the device, if you wish to pair it again, you can do so directly within 3 minutes. If more than 3 minutes have passed, click the product once to activate it with a ring prompt, and it will re-enter the pairing state.
