6. User Tips
- First Power-On Noise: When you first turn on the radio, you might hear some static or noise. This is normal if there's no strong FM signal. The unit will typically play the last tuned FM station on subsequent power-ons.
- Clock Display After Power Off: The clock display behavior when the car is off depends on your vehicle's wiring. Some cars provide constant battery power to the radio, allowing the clock to remain displayed, while others cut power when the ignition key is removed. This is a characteristic of your car's electrical system, not a defect of the radio.
- USB Charging: The USB port can also be used for charging mobile devices (5V charge).
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause / Solution |
|---|---|
| No power | Check power connections (RED, YELLOW, BLACK wires). Ensure the car's fuse is not blown. Check the unit's fuse (refer to wiring diagram). |
| No sound | Check speaker connections. Ensure volume is not at minimum or muted. Check audio source selection (FM, BT, USB, AUX). |
| Poor FM reception | Check antenna connection. Try auto-scanning for stations again. Move to an area with better signal. |
| Bluetooth not pairing | Ensure the unit is in 'BT' mode. Make sure 'CAR-BT' is selected on your phone. Enter '0000' as the password if prompted. Restart both devices. |
| USB/TF card not playing | Ensure the card/drive is inserted correctly. Check if the files are in supported formats (MP3/WMA/WAV). Try a different USB drive or TF card. Ensure the unit is in the correct mode. |
| Remote control not working | Ensure a working battery is installed (CR2025 type, not included). Point the remote directly at the unit's IR sensor. |
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the unit's front panel. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Avoid Liquids: Keep the unit away from water and other liquids.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures.
- Fuse Replacement: If the fuse blows, replace it with a fuse of the same type and rating (e.g., 10A). Using an incorrect fuse can cause damage or fire.
