5. Setup Guide
5.1 Physical Installation
- Choose a Location: Select a suitable location for your camera, considering coverage area, power access, and Wi-Fi signal strength. For outdoor installation, ensure the camera is mounted securely and within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Mount the Camera: Use the provided mounting screws to securely attach the camera to a wall or pole. The camera supports side, normal, wall-mounted, and vertical pole mount installations.
- Connect Power: Connect the included DC 12V 2A power supply to the camera's power port and plug it into an electrical outlet.
5.2 Network Connection
The camera supports both wireless and wired connections, as well as an AP Hotspot mode for direct connection.

- Wireless Transmission: Connect the camera to your Wi-Fi router wirelessly. Ensure your router operates on the 2.4GHz band, as 5G Wi-Fi is not supported.
- Wire Transmission: For a more stable connection, connect the camera to your router using an RJ-45 LAN cable.
- NVR Connection: The camera can be connected to a Network Video Recorder (NVR) for centralized video management and storage.
- AP Hotspot Mode: For direct local access without a router, the camera can create its own Wi-Fi hotspot. Note that the range for this mode is typically no more than 10 meters.
