5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, or when the battery indicator shows low power, charge the inclinometer using the provided USB Type-C cable. Connect the cable to the Type-C port on the device and to a standard USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
5.2 Initial Power On
Remove any protective films from the display and buttons. Press the ON/OFF Button (
) lightly to turn on the device. The display will illuminate, and the device will enter Absolute Measuring Mode, showing the angle relative to the absolute level.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
- To Turn On: Lightly press the ON/OFF Button.
- To Turn Off: Press and hold the ON/OFF Button again.
6.2 Measuring Modes

Figure 7: Measuring Modes and Units
Absolute Measuring Mode:
In this mode, the inclinometer measures the angle relative to a true horizontal (absolute level). The absolute zero position is factory-calibrated.
- Turn on the instrument.
- Place the instrument on the surface to be measured. The display will show the angle relative to the absolute horizontal.
Relative Measuring Mode:
This mode allows you to set any surface as a reference (zero) and measure subsequent angles relative to that reference.
- Turn on the instrument and place it on your desired reference surface (e.g., a surface with a known angle).
- Short press the Functional Key (W). The display will show "0.00°" and the "REF" indicator will appear, indicating that this surface is now your relative zero.
- Move the instrument to the surface you wish to measure. The display will show the angle relative to your set reference surface.
6.3 Data Hold Function
To freeze the current measurement value on the display:
- Short press the Functional Key (W). The "H" indicator will appear on the display.
- To release the data hold, short press the Functional Key (W) again.
6.4 Unit Conversion (Angle/Slope)
To switch between angle (°) and slope (%):
- Long press the Functional Key (W). The display will toggle between angle (°) and slope (%).
6.5 Magnetic Base Usage
The powerful magnets on the base allow for easy and firm attachment to ferrous metal surfaces. This is particularly useful for hands-free operation on saw blades, metal frames, or other magnetic workpieces, ensuring stable and accurate readings.
