4.1. Drone Assembly

The KY101 drone features a modular design for easy assembly without screws for certain parts.

1. Install Landing Gears (Tripods): Attach the two landing gears to the designated slots on the bottom of the drone.

4.2. Battery Installation & Charging

2. Charging the Drone Battery: Connect the drone battery to the provided USB battery charger. Plug the USB charger into a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter). The charging time is approximately 90 minutes.
3. Remote Control Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control. Insert 3 x AAA 1.5V batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment.

6. Turning (Left Joystick Left/Right): Push the left joystick left or right to rotate the drone counter-clockwise or clockwise, respectively.
7. Speed Adjustment: Use the speed adjustment button (often labeled 'High and low gear') to switch between different flight speeds (low, mid-range, high).

• Headless Mode: In headless mode, the drone's orientation is irrelevant; it will fly according to the direction of the remote control joystick. This simplifies control, especially for beginners.
