3. Setup Instructions

  1. Power Source Connection:
    • Connect the low-voltage input terminals to your battery or power supply.
    • For ZYXH-GZQ: Red wire is positive (+), White wire is negative (-).
    • For ZYXH-801 and ZYXH-801-2: Red wire is positive (+), Green wire is negative (-).
    • Ensure the input voltage matches the specifications for your model (DC 3.7V-7V for ZYXH-GZQ, DC 3V-6V for ZYXH-801, DC 6V-12V for ZYXH-801-2).
    • This product does not require an auxiliary circuit and can be directly connected to a battery.
  2. Output Terminal Adjustment:
    • Before powering on, adjust the distance between the two poles of the high-voltage output terminal (the thick wires).
    • The arcing distance is proportional to the voltage and capacity of the battery used.
    • When testing the arc distance, start with a short distance and gradually increase it.
    • Important: Do not exceed the maximum specified discharge distance for your model (within 14mm for ZYXH-GZQ, approximately 0.5-1.5 cm for ZYXH-801-2, and within 1 cm for ZYXH-801). Exceeding this can prevent the high-voltage energy from being released, potentially damaging the module.

4. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Once the input and output connections are secure and the discharge distance is set, apply power to the module.
  2. Intermittent Operation: These modules are designed for intermittent use, not continuous operation.
    • For ZYXH-801 and ZYXH-801-2: Continuous operation above 3V should not exceed 5 seconds. For input voltages of 3V or below, longer working hours are permissible.
    • For ZYXH-GZQ: It is recommended to work intermittently for short periods.
    • The module's internal heat dissipation is limited, making it unsuitable for prolonged continuous use.
  3. Battery Capacity:
    • To achieve maximum output power, use rechargeable batteries or batteries with sufficient capacity.
    • To check if your battery capacity is adequate, measure the battery voltage while an arc is being drawn. If the voltage remains around 6V (for models requiring 3V-6V input), the maximum power can be output.
    • For optimal performance, especially with lithium batteries, it is recommended to use batteries with a capacity of 2000mAh or higher, ideally 4000mAh or more.

5. Maintenance

These high-voltage generator modules are generally maintenance-free. However, due to their high power output and limited internal heat dissipation, it is crucial to adhere to the recommended intermittent working mode. Prolonged continuous operation can lead to overheating and potential damage to the module. Keep the module clean and free from dust and moisture to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

6. Troubleshooting

  • No Arc or Weak Arc:
    • Check Input Voltage: Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range for your module.
    • Check Battery Capacity: Insufficient battery capacity can lead to a drop in voltage under load, resulting in a weak or absent arc. Use a battery with adequate capacity (e.g., 2000mAh+ lithium battery).
    • Adjust Discharge Distance: The high-voltage output terminals might be too far apart. Gradually reduce the distance between the poles.
    • Incorrect Wiring: Verify that the input wires (red/white or red/green) are connected correctly to the positive and negative terminals of your power source.
  • Module Damage:
    • Exceeding Discharge Distance: If the high-voltage output terminals are set too far apart, the energy cannot be released, which can damage the module. Always adjust the output spacing before powering on and do not exceed the maximum recommended distance.
    • Prolonged Continuous Operation: Operating the module continuously for extended periods, especially above 3V for ZYXH-801/801-2, can cause overheating and damage. Adhere to intermittent working methods.
    • Improper Voltage: Using an input voltage outside the specified range can damage the module.

7. Warranty and Support

This product is typically covered by a standard manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Please retain your proof of purchase for any warranty claims. For technical support or inquiries, please contact the seller or manufacturer directly. Damage resulting from improper use, exceeding specified operating parameters, or unauthorized modifications is not covered under warranty.
