Setup

  1. Unpacking and Inspection: Remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.

  2. Base Installation: Place the heavy cast iron base on a stable workbench. The base features screw fixing holes and expansion slots for secure mounting.
  3. Column Assembly: Insert the main column into the base and secure it according to the instructions provided in the included manual (refer to the diagram in the manual for specific screw locations). The column has a diameter of 45mm.
  4. Attaching the Drill Head: Mount the drill head unit onto the column.
  5. Operating Handle Installation: Attach the operating handle to the side of the drill head. Use the provided hex key to secure it.

  6. Power Connection: Ensure the drill press is connected to a 220V AC power source with a frequency of 50Hz/60Hz.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On/Off: Use the red power switch located on the side of the drill head to turn the machine on or off.

  2. Speed Adjustment: The drill press features an intelligent digital display for speed control. Use the up and down arrow buttons on the control panel to adjust the rotation speed (RPM) from 300 to 2500 rpm.

  3. Head Height Adjustment: The machine head can move up and down by 60mm.
    1. Loosen the head screw.
    2. Turn the lifter to adjust the height.

  4. Drilling Depth Adjustment: Use the rocker travel scale to set the desired drilling depth. The scale ranges from 0 to 60mm.

  5. Laser Positioning: Activate the laser positioning feature for accurate hole placement. The laser projects a crosshair onto the workpiece.

  6. Chuck Operation: The drill press is equipped with a 1.5-13mm three-jaw chuck. Insert the drill bit and tighten it securely using the chuck key.
