1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

• Age Restriction: Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts. Recommended age is 14+ years.
• Battery Safety: Use only the provided charging cable. Do not overcharge or puncture the battery. Discontinue use if the battery becomes damaged or swollen.
• Operating Environment: Operate the RC crawler in open areas, away from people, pets, and obstacles. Avoid operating near water or in wet conditions to prevent damage to electronics.

5.1. Charging the Car Battery

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the rear of the X43 RC Crawler.
2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the car and to a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
3. The charging indicator on the car (or cable, if applicable) will show charging status. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use (approximately 80 minutes runtime per charge).

5.2. Transmitter (CT01) Setup (RTR Version)

1. Ensure the transmitter has sufficient power. The CT01 transmitter has a built-in 18650 battery and supports USB charging.
2. The transmitter is pre-bound to the car in the RTR version. If re-binding is necessary, refer to the specific instructions in the included manual.
3. Familiarize yourself with the transmitter controls as shown in the diagram below.

5.3. Installing the Car Shell

The RTR version includes a white shell for DIY customization. Carefully attach the shell to the chassis using the provided M1.6 nuts and screwdriver. Ensure all connections are secure.

6.1. Basic Controls

• Power On: Turn on the transmitter first, then the car.
• Throttle: Use the trigger on the transmitter to control forward and reverse movement.
• Steering: Use the steering wheel on the transmitter to control left and right turns.
• Lights: The X43 features simulated lighting including high/low beams, turn signals, brake/reverse lights, and dual flashing lights. Use the designated buttons on the transmitter (refer to CT01 diagram) to control these functions.
• Trims: Use the TH Trim (Throttle Trim) and ST Trim (Steering Trim) buttons to fine-tune the car's straight-line performance and neutral throttle position.
• Speed/Direction Angle: Adjust the speed and steering sensitivity using the corresponding switches on the transmitter.
• Emergency Flashers: Activate emergency flashers via the dedicated button on the transmitter.

6.2. Driving Tips

• The X43 is a 4x4 crawler with a full proportional control system, allowing for precise movements over challenging terrain.
• Practice in a clear area to get accustomed to the controls before attempting complex obstacles.

• Servo: The S17E servo provides accurate steering. Ensure it moves freely and is not obstructed.
• Tires: Check tires for damage or excessive wear. Ensure they are securely attached to the metal wheel hubs.
• General Inspection: Regularly check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight.

8. Troubleshooting

• Car Not Moving / Lights Flashing: This indicates a low battery voltage status. The front and rear headlights will flash rapidly, and the car will not move. Recharge the car battery immediately.
• Loss of Control / Intermittent Response: Check the transmitter's battery level. The CT01 transmitter provides real-time voltage display and a low voltage alarm. Ensure you are within the 50m remote distance. Check for strong interference sources in the operating area.
• Poor Climbing Performance: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Inspect tires for debris or damage. Check for any obstructions in the drivetrain or suspension.
• Unresponsive Controls: Ensure both the car and transmitter are powered on and properly linked. If using a BNR version, ensure it is correctly bound to your transmitter.
