Troubleshooting

  • No Display/Incorrect Resolution with Raspberry Pi: Ensure the config.txt file on your Raspberry Pi's SD card has been correctly modified as described in the 'Raspberry Pi Specific Setup' section. Verify power supply meets the specific requirements for your Raspberry Pi model.
  • Touch Function Not Working on PC: Make sure the Micro USB cable for touch is connected to the 'Micro USB (Touch & Power, for computer)' port (2) on the monitor and to a USB data port on your PC.
  • No Audio: Check that the volume is not muted or set too low using the twist wheel. Ensure your device's audio output is directed to the HDMI port. If using external speakers or headphones, ensure they are properly connected to the 3.5mm earphone port (4).
  • Screen Flickering or Instability: Ensure the power supply is stable and meets the required voltage and amperage. Try using a different HDMI cable.
  • Monitor Not Powering On: Verify the power cable is securely connected to the 'Micro USB (Only for Power)' port (3) or the 'Micro USB (Touch & Power)' port (2 or 6) and that the power source is active. Check the power switch (10).

User Tips

  • Optimal Viewing: Utilize the 178° wide viewing angle of the IPS panel for consistent image quality from various perspectives.
  • Protect the Screen: The tempered touch panel has 6H hardness, but avoid sharp objects and excessive force to prevent scratches. Use a soft, lint-free cloth for cleaning.
  • Cable Management: Keep cables tidy to prevent accidental disconnections and damage, especially in portable setups.
  • Power Supply: Always use a power adapter that meets the specified voltage and current requirements for your connected device (e.g., Raspberry Pi 4 needs 5V 3A).
  • Customization: Explore the brightness and volume settings via the twist wheel to personalize your viewing and audio experience.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaning solution. Do not spray liquid directly onto the screen.
  • Cleaning the Casing: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the monitor's casing. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the monitor in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to use the original packaging for storage if available.
  • Avoid Liquids: Keep the monitor away from water and other liquids to prevent electrical damage.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the monitor's cooling fan port (if a fan is installed) and any other vents are not obstructed to prevent overheating.
