5. Installation Guide
Follow these steps to install your Aigo AK 500W Power Supply Unit:
- General Cases: Install the power supply at the intended location within your PC case. Use a screwdriver (typically a Phillips head) to secure the power supply in place with screws.
- 20+4PIN Motherboard Connection: Locate the main power cable (20+4PIN) from the power supply and connect it to the long, rectangular port on your motherboard.
- SATA HDD/SSD Connection: Use the smaller SATA power cables to connect the power supply to your hard drives (HDDs) and solid-state drives (SSDs).
- 6+2PIN VGA (Graphics Card) Connection: Use the 6+2PIN PCI-E cables to connect the power supply to your graphics card(s). This PSU provides two 6+2PIN connectors.
- 4PIN Peripheral (Lighting System) Connection: Use the 4PIN peripheral cables to connect the power supply to any compatible lighting systems or other peripherals.
- 4+4PIN CPU Power Connector: Use the 4+4PIN connector to connect the power supply to the CPU power port on your motherboard. If your motherboard only requires a 4-pin CPU connector, you can use half of the 4+4PIN connector.
Caution: Equipment installation must comply with local and national electrical codes.

6. Operating Instructions
Once the power supply is correctly installed and all components are connected:
- Ensure the power switch on the back of the PSU is in the 'OFF' (0) position.
- Connect the AC power cord to the PSU and then to a grounded wall outlet.
- Flip the power switch on the back of the PSU to the 'ON' (I) position.
- You can now power on your computer using the case's power button.
The 120mm RGB fan will operate quietly, and the power supply features multiple protection mechanisms (overvoltage, overcurrent, undervoltage, short circuit, and overload) to ensure stable operation.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the power supply and the fan grille to prevent dust buildup, which can hinder cooling. Use a soft, dry cloth or compressed air. Ensure the power supply is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Ventilation: Ensure that the PC case has adequate airflow and that the power supply's fan is not obstructed.
- Cable Management: Proper cable management can improve airflow within your PC case, contributing to better cooling for all components, including the PSU.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your power supply, try the following steps:
- No Power:
- Check if the power cord is securely connected to both the PSU and the wall outlet.
- Ensure the power switch on the back of the PSU is in the 'ON' (I) position.
- Verify that the wall outlet is functioning by plugging in another device.
- Double-check all internal power connections (20+4PIN, CPU, GPU, SATA) to ensure they are seated correctly.
- System Instability/Random Shutdowns:
- Ensure your system's power requirements do not exceed the PSU's 500W capacity.
- Check for proper ventilation and ensure the PSU fan is spinning. Overheating can cause instability.
- Verify that all components are correctly installed and not shorting.
- Fan Not Spinning:
- The fan may not spin at low loads due to the intelligent thermal control circuit. If the system is under load and the fan is still not spinning, check for obstructions or contact support.
If problems persist after following these steps, consult a qualified technician or contact customer support.
9. User Tips
