  7. Save the settings and reboot the head unit.

It is recommended to update your head unit's MCU (Microcontroller Unit) to the latest version for optimal CANbus performance.

4. Maintenance

This product is a passive installation kit and requires minimal maintenance.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the fascia frame. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish.
  • Inspection: Periodically check that the fascia frame and head unit are securely mounted and that all wiring connections remain firm.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Head unit does not power on:
    • Check all power connections (B+, ACC, GND) on the 16-PIN harness.
    • Ensure the vehicle's battery is properly connected and charged.

  • Steering wheel controls not working:
    • Confirm the 8-PIN CANbus plug is securely connected to the head unit.
    • Re-check the CANbus settings in the head unit's factory settings (Section 3). Ensure 'Raise' is selected as the CANbus brand and the correct car model/year is chosen.
    • If prompted for a factory password and you don't know it, consult your head unit vendor.
  • No sound from speakers:
    • Verify all speaker wire connections (FR+, FR-, FL+, FL-, RL+, RL-, RR+, RR-) are correct and secure.
