1. Introduction

The Huawei e5575s-320 Pocket Cube is a portable 3G/4G LTE mobile Wi-Fi hotspot designed to provide high-speed internet access on the go. 2. Setup

2.1 Charging the Device

  1. Connect the USB cable to the charging port on the Pocket Cube.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter or a computer's USB port.
  3. The device's indicator lights will show charging status. Ensure the device is fully charged before first use for optimal battery life.

2.2 Inserting the SIM Card

  1. Power off the device if it is on.
  2. Locate the SIM card slot, usually under the battery cover or on the side.

  4. Replace the battery cover if removed.

2.3 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the power button until the indicators light up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the indicators turn off.

3. Operating the Device

3.1 Connecting to Wi-Fi

Once powered on, the Pocket Cube will broadcast a Wi-Fi network. You can find the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password displayed on the device's screen or on a label inside the battery compartment.

  1. On your Wi-Fi-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, laptop), search for available Wi-Fi networks.
  2. Select the network name (SSID) corresponding to your Pocket Cube.
  3. Enter the Wi-Fi password when prompted.
  4. Your device should now be connected to the internet via the Pocket Cube.

3.2 LED Indicators

The device features LED indicators to show its status:

  • Signal Indicator: Shows the strength of the 3G/4G cellular signal.
  • Wi-Fi Indicator: Indicates if Wi-Fi is active.
  • Battery Indicator: Displays the current battery level.
  • SMS Indicator: Notifies of new messages (if supported and configured).

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Care

  • Device Connection: Confirm your Wi-Fi device is connected to the Pocket Cube's network.
  • Restart: Power off the Pocket Cube, wait a few seconds, then power it back on.

5.2 Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi

  • Correct Password: Double-check the Wi-Fi password (SSID and password are shown on the device screen, see Figure 2).
  • Device Limit: Ensure you haven't exceeded the maximum number of connected devices (typically 10 for mobile hotspots).
  • Restart: Restart both the Pocket Cube and your Wi-Fi-enabled device.

5.3 Slow Internet Speed

  • Signal Strength: A weak cellular signal will result in slower speeds.
  • Network Congestion: High network traffic in your area can affect speeds.
  • Connected Devices: Too many devices sharing the connection can reduce individual speeds.
  • Data Cap: Check if your data plan has a speed throttle after a certain usage.

5.4 Device Not Powering On

  • Battery Level: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a charger and try again.
  • Battery Insertion: Verify the battery is correctly inserted.
