5. Setup & Installation
5.1 Physical Installation
The sensor comes with a bracket for easy wall mounting. Choose a location where motion detection is critical, such as a living room or corridor. The sensor's location can be adjusted for optimal coverage.
5.2 Power Connection
- Connect the provided Type-C cable to the PIR sensor and a DC5V/1A power source.
5.3 App Download & Pairing
- Download the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app from your mobile phone's app store (iOS/Android) or scan the QR code below.
- Open the Smart Life app. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone.
- In the app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
- Press and hold the set key on the PIR sensor for more than 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes.
- The app should discover the device. Tap "Add" and follow the on-screen prompts to enter your Wi-Fi network password. The sensor will automatically connect to the Wi-Fi network.
