6. Troubleshooting
- Device not automatically searched: Ensure Bluetooth and location permissions are enabled on your mobile phone and granted to the Tuya Smart app.
- Connection not successful: Try resetting the device and reconnecting. Ensure your router, mobile phone, and doorbell are close during the pairing process.
- Device goes offline: This is normal for a low-power doorbell. When no one rings the doorbell, the device enters hibernation to conserve power.
- WiFi compatibility: The doorbell only supports 2.4GHz WiFi. It does not support 5GHz WiFi or WiFi networks with special symbols in their names.
- Installation location: Do not install the device on a metal wall, as it may interfere with WiFi signals. It is recommended to install on both sides of the door, avoiding iron doors that can affect the signal.
- Memory card issues: The device supports TF card video storage. Do not insert or remove the memory card when the device is powered on to avoid data loss or damage.
- Charging usage: Do not use the doorbell while it is charging.
- Synchronization loss between doorbell and chime: If the synchronization between the doorbell and chime is lost, repeat the matching process described in Section 3.3.
