4. Setup and Preparation

  1. Unpack the Cutter: Carefully remove the paper cutter from its packaging.

  3. Adjust Cutting Depth:
    • Push the blade holder to align the pointer with the '0' point position on the scale.
    • Each advance on the scale corresponds to +1mm material thickness.
    • The maximum cutting depth for bevel cuts is 5mm.

5. Operating Instructions

Your KW-triO Paper Cutter supports two main cutting modes: 45° oblique (bevel) and 90° straight (plane) cuts.

5.1. 45° Oblique Cutting Mode

This mode is commonly used for picture frames, framed cant trimming, and window cutting.

Four-step procedure for 45 degree bevel cutting: 1. Panel fully lowered, pull out blade flapper to unlock. 2. Mark cutting position with a ruler. 3. Press front of cutting knife against ruler and slide blade down to cut. 4. Finish cutting required edges in turn.

  1. Ensure the panel is fully lowered and the blade flapper is pulled out to unlock.
  2. Mark the desired cutting position on your material using a ruler.
  3. Place the front of the cutting knife against the ruler. Press down firmly with one hand, then slide the blade down to cut.
  4. Repeat for all required edges.

5.2. 90° Straight Knife Mode

This mode is often used for cutting plastic materials, cardstock, and other flat materials.

Four-step procedure for 90 degree bevel cutting: 1. Fully lift the tool holder panel with the blade retracted, press the lock mode button after lifting. 2. Line down the cutting position, line up the points on both sides of the body. 3. Stick to the front of the ruler with hand press firmly, then press down the blade and slide along the ruler to cut. 4. Follow the steps above to cut the required edge to complete.

  1. Fully lift the tool holder panel with the blade retracted. Press the lock mode button after lifting.
  2. Mark the cutting position. Align the points on both sides of the cutter body with your marked line.
  3. Place the front of the cutter against the ruler. Press firmly with your hand, then press down the blade and slide along the ruler to cut.
  4. Repeat for all required edges.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Blade Replacement

To maintain optimal cutting performance, replace the blade when it becomes dull. Replacement blades can typically be found where the product was purchased or from authorized retailers.
