Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive pads, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the remote's surface or internal components.

Battery Replacement

  • Replace batteries when the remote's operating range decreases significantly or the display becomes dim.
  • Always replace both batteries at the same time.
  • Remove old batteries promptly to prevent leakage, which can damage the remote.

Troubleshooting

  • Remote not responding: Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the right polarity. Replace old batteries with new ones. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the air conditioner's infrared receiver.
  • Limited operating range: This usually indicates low battery power. Replace the batteries. Also, ensure you are pointing the remote directly at the AC unit's receiver.
  • AC unit not responding to specific functions: While this is a universal remote, some advanced or brand-specific functions of your AC unit might not be supported. Refer to your air conditioner's original manual for its specific features.

User Tips

  • For optimal performance, ensure the remote is compatible with your specific air conditioner model. While designed for AUX and LORIOT, compatibility with other brands like BASIC, HALO, or Bissell should be verified with your AC unit's manual or manufacturer.
  • Keep the remote control away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent damage to the LCD display and internal components.
  • Avoid dropping the remote control, as this can cause internal damage.

This remote control is typically covered by a standard manufacturer's warranty. For any issues, technical support, or warranty claims, please contact the seller or the manufacturer directly. Keep your purchase receipt as proof of purchase.
