8. Troubleshooting

  • Mudguard feels loose: Check all connection screws and zip ties. Ensure they are tightened securely. The quick-release bracket should be firmly attached to the bike frame.
  • Mudguard not effectively blocking splashes: Adjust the angle of the mudguard using the adjustment knobs to ensure optimal coverage over the wheel. The support rod length can also be adjusted to position the mudguard closer or further from the tire.
  • Difficulty installing: Refer to the detailed installation steps and video provided in Section 5. Ensure the anti-slip pads are correctly placed and zip ties are tightened properly.

9. User Tips

  • Wheel Size Compatibility: While designed for road bikes, it's always recommended to verify compatibility with your specific wheel size (e.g., 29-inch wheels) to ensure proper fit and function. Measure the clearance between your tire and frame before installation.
  • Optimal Angle: Experiment with different mudguard angles to find the best balance between splash protection and aesthetics for your riding style and conditions.
  • Regular Checks: For consistent performance, make it a habit to quickly check the mudguard's stability and angle before each ride, especially after riding on rough terrain.
