4. Installation
The WAYXIN T2 offers two primary installation methods to suit different helmet types and preferences:
4.1 Microphone Selection
Choose the appropriate microphone type based on your helmet:
- Boom Microphone: Recommended for half-face helmets, off-road helmets, and summer helmets. This microphone extends closer to your mouth.
- Button Microphone: Recommended for full-face helmets. This microphone is designed to be placed inside the helmet near the mouth area.

4.2 Mounting the Host Unit
The host unit can be attached to your helmet using either the clip bracket or the paste bracket.
- Clip Bracket Installation:
- Open the metal piece of the clip bracket.
- Plug the clip into the edge of your helmet, ensuring it is securely fastened.
- Slide the WAYXIN T2 host unit into the bracket until it clicks into place.
- Paste Bracket Installation:
- Clean the desired mounting area on your helmet thoroughly.
- Tear off the red protective film from the adhesive paste bracket.
- Firmly press the paste bracket onto the edge of the helmet and hold for a few seconds to ensure strong adhesion.
- Slide the WAYXIN T2 host unit into the bracket until it clicks into place.

5. Setup and Pairing
5.1 Connecting to Your Phone (Bluetooth Pairing)
Follow these steps to pair your WAYXIN T2 with your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device:
- With the WAYXIN T2 powered off, press and hold the dedicated "phone" button on the unit until the red and blue indicator lights begin to flash alternately. This indicates pairing mode.
- On your smartphone, navigate to the Bluetooth settings menu.
- Search for available devices and select "WAYXIN T2" from the list.
- Once connected, the product's LED indicator will show a steady blue light.
Note: If your mobile phone has specific Bluetooth permission settings, please grant the necessary permissions for the WAYXIN T2 to function correctly.
5.2 Connecting Intercoms (Rider-to-Rider Pairing)
To establish intercom communication between two WAYXIN T2 units:
- Ensure both WAYXIN T2 units are powered ON.
- On the first unit, press and hold the "intercom" button for approximately 4 seconds until it enters pairing mode (blue light flashes rapidly).
- On the second unit, click the "intercom" button to search for the first unit.
- Once successfully paired, both units' blue lights will flash simultaneously.
- To enter intercom mode, click the "intercom" button on either unit. The intercom status will be indicated by a flashing purple light.

- Intercom Communication: Once paired, two riders can communicate wirelessly up to 30 meters apart. Activate intercom mode by pressing the intercom button.
- Phone Calls: When connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, the device supports automatic call answering. You can also make and receive calls hands-free.
- Voice Assistant: Access your phone's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant) directly from the intercom unit. Refer to your phone's manual for specific voice command functions.
