Setup
Before starting, ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. The eWelink app is required for both WiFi and Zigbee versions.
1. Download and Install the eWelink App
- Scan the QR code provided in the product packaging or search for "eWelink" in your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
- Download and install the eWelink app.
- Register or log in to your eWelink account.
2. Install the Smart Bulb
Carefully screw the GU10 smart bulb into a compatible GU10 light fixture. Ensure the power is off before installation.
3. Pairing the Smart Bulb
For WiFi Version (No Hub Required):
- Turn on the power to the bulb. The bulb should start blinking rapidly, indicating it's in pairing mode. If not, turn the bulb ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON (with 2-second intervals) until it blinks rapidly.
- Open the eWelink app.
- Tap the '+' icon or 'Add Device' to start the pairing process.
- Select 'Add Device' or 'Quick Pairing' and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the bulb to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Once connected, you can rename the bulb and assign it to a room.
For Zigbee Version (Zigbee 3.0 Hub/Gateway Required):
The Zigbee version requires a compatible Zigbee 3.0 hub or a third-party voice assistant with a built-in Zigbee hub. Compatible hubs include:

Note: The current Zigbee bulb version does NOT work with Tuya or Smart Life platforms.
- Ensure your Zigbee hub is set up and connected to your network.
- Turn on the power to the bulb. The bulb should start blinking rapidly, indicating it's in pairing mode. If not, turn the bulb ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON (with 2-second intervals) until it blinks rapidly.
- Open your eWelink app or the app associated with your Zigbee hub (e.g., Alexa app for Echo devices, SmartThings app).
- Initiate device discovery within the app (e.g., "Alexa, discover devices").
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.
- Once connected, you can rename the bulb and assign it to a room.

Once your smart bulb is successfully paired, you can control it using the eWelink app or compatible voice assistants.
1. App Control (eWelink App)
The eWelink app provides comprehensive control over your smart bulb:
- On/Off: Toggle the bulb's power.
- Brightness: Adjust the light intensity from 1% to 100%.
- Color Temperature: Change between warm white (2700K) and cool white (6500K).
- RGB Colors: Select from 16 million colors to create any ambiance.
- Scenes: Create and save custom lighting scenes for different moods or activities.



2. Voice Control
Integrate your smart bulb with popular voice assistants for hands-free control:
- Amazon Alexa: "Alexa, turn on the living room light."
- Google Assistant: "Hey Google, set the bedroom light to blue."
- Yandex Alice: (For WiFi bulbs, direct connection; for Zigbee bulbs, requires eWelink gateway)

3. Timer & Schedule
Automate your lighting by setting schedules and timers:
- Time Setting: Program the bulb to turn ON/OFF at specific times daily or on selected days.
- Delay Shutdown: Set a countdown timer for the light to automatically turn off after a set duration.


4. Group Control
Control multiple smart bulbs simultaneously by grouping them in the eWelink app. This allows you to manage lighting for an entire room or area with a single command.

5. Music Cadence

Maintenance
The arteco GU10 Smart LED Bulb is designed for long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance. Follow these guidelines to ensure optimal operation:
- Cleaning: Ensure the bulb is cool and powered off before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Storage: If storing the bulb for an extended period, keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Replacement: The bulb has a service life of over 30,000 hours. When replacement is needed, ensure the power is off and carefully unscrew the old bulb before installing a new one.
Troubleshooting
- Q: Is a hub required to connect the downlight?
- A: The WiFi version does not require a hub. The eWelink Zigbee version requires a Zigbee 3.0 Gateway connection. Please use it with a compatible Zigbee hub.
- Q: Does it work with Alexa / Google Home?
- A: Yes, it is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Yandex Alice for easy voice control.
- Q: If the light has been powered off by the wall switch, will it retain its settings when power back on?
- A: Yes, the light will keep the setting as before due to its memory function.
- Q: Can this be used manually (without WiFi) with a dimmer switch?
- A: When there is no Internet connection, the eWelink app can control the light bulb through a Bluetooth signal, allowing for manual dimming and other controls.
- Q: The bulb is not connecting to the network or blinking rapidly.
- A: Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal. Try resetting the bulb by turning it ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON (with 2-second intervals) until it blinks rapidly, then attempt pairing again.
- Q: My Zigbee bulb is not working with Tuya/Smart Life.
- A: The Zigbee version of this bulb is designed for eWelink Zigbee gateways and specific third-party hubs (e.g., Amazon Echo Plus, Smartthings). It is not compatible with Tuya or Smart Life platforms.
User Tips
- For the Zigbee version, always ensure you have a compatible Zigbee 3.0 hub (like Amazon Echo Plus, Echo Show (2nd Gen), Echo 4th gen, Studio, Echo Show 10, or a Smartthings bridge) for full functionality.
- The bulb's memory function ensures that your preferred settings are retained even after a power cycle from a wall switch.
- If your internet connection is down, you can still control the WiFi bulb via the eWelink app using Bluetooth, allowing for basic functions like dimming.
- When setting up, make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, as the bulbs do not support 5GHz networks.
