1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation and care of your ATORCH Transparent Acrylic Insulation Bottom Shell. This protective shell is designed to offer insulation and physical protection for the bottom circuit board of ATORCH DL24/P, DL24EW, and BW150 series electronic load products.
2. Safety Information
- Always ensure the device is powered off and disconnected from any power source before installation or maintenance.
- Handle the acrylic plate and electronic components with care to prevent damage.
- Ensure all screws are tightened securely but do not overtighten to avoid cracking the acrylic or damaging the circuit board.
- This product is an accessory for insulation and protection. It does not alter the electrical characteristics or safety features of the main device.
- If the main device operates above 36V, please pay attention to safety.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present in your package:
- 1x Transparent Acrylic Plate
- 4x M3 Nuts
- 4x M3 Male-Female Screws (standoffs)
- 4x M3 Screws
- 4x M3 Machine Feet (rubber pads)

4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to install the transparent acrylic bottom shell onto your compatible ATORCH device (DL24/P, DL24EW, or BW150 series). The DL24/BW150 load tester itself is not included and is shown for demonstration purposes only.
- Prepare Components: Gather the bottom transparent acrylic plate, accessory screws, and the base unit of your ATORCH electronic load. Ensure the device is powered off and unplugged.

Image 2: Initial setup showing the acrylic plate, screws, and the electronic load. - Install Screw Columns: Carefully install the M3 male-female screw columns (standoffs) into the designated screw holes on the bottom of your electronic load device. These will act as spacers between the circuit board and the acrylic plate.

Image 3: Screw columns being installed into the electronic load's base. - Attach Acrylic Plate: Place the transparent acrylic protective plate over the screw columns, aligning the holes on the plate with the installed screw columns. The plate should sit flush against the standoffs.

Image 4: Acrylic plate placed over the screw columns on the electronic load. - Secure with Rubber Pads and Screws: Install the bottom rubber pads (machine feet) onto the acrylic plate, then use the M3 screws to lock them into place, securing the acrylic plate to the device. Ensure the screws are snug but not overly tight.

Image 5: Rubber pads and screws being installed to secure the acrylic plate. - Final Tightening: Properly lock the surface nuts. Note that the screw on the button part of the device does not need to be locked by the acrylic shell. This ensures proper button function.

Image 6: Final check of screw tightness, highlighting areas that need locking and those that do not. - Verify Installation: Once all components are secured, check the stability of the protective shell. The acrylic plate should provide a stable and insulated base for your device.

5. Operating Instructions
This product is a protective accessory and does not have operational functions. Once installed, it provides passive insulation and physical protection to the bottom circuit board of your ATORCH electronic load. Operate your ATORCH device as per its original instruction manual.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean the acrylic shell, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they can scratch or damage the acrylic.
- Inspection: Periodically check the screws for tightness. If any screws become loose, gently retighten them.
- Storage: If removed, store the acrylic plate and hardware in a safe, dry place to prevent loss or damage.
7. Troubleshooting
- Acrylic plate does not fit: Ensure you have the correct model of ATORCH electronic load (DL24/P, DL24EW, or BW150 series). Verify the orientation of the acrylic plate.
- Screws do not align: Double-check that the screw columns are correctly seated in the device's holes and that the acrylic plate is properly aligned before tightening.
- Button interference: Ensure the screw near the button area is not overtightened or that the acrylic plate is not pressing on the button. The design allows for the button to remain functional without being locked by the shell.
